COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy Boy India Pale Ale is the flagship beer of Twisted Pine. It has a rocky white head, hazy pale orange color, and hoppy citrus aroma. It has a dry, tart taste with an earthy bitterness. Cascade hops provide pleasant grapefruit and citrus notes. This classic American IPA is brewed with medium caramel malts that play off the citrus and orange rind hop flavors to make this beer most enjoyable.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is lovely grassy hoppy which also lends it notes of pine needles and citrus. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy which primarily gives it notes of grass and pine needles, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours dark gold with a multifinger foamy off-white head. Lots of hop aroma - seems to be mixed citrus/pine. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is fruity/floral hop over light malt. It is just excellent. Quite tasty.

hopscotch (8215) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2011
Bottle... Pours clear and amber with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose is both malty and hoppy – toffee and tea biscuit flanked by pepper, musky, earthy lupulin. Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Rindy, acrid bitterness dominates the flavor profile, but there are nice biscuit and toffee undertones as well. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish.

12oz bottle acquired in trade (as part of the Perfect 10 swap) with Kevin (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color wtih a larger sized white head. Aromas of pine, lightly earthy, and some citrus. Tastes of citrus and pine. Tastes on the weaker and somewhat watery side (kinda like the body). This one was a let down.
