2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle pours clear deep gold with weak white head. The aroma is a mix of berry syrup and an off tart note as well as sugar sweetness in the background. The taste has extract like berry sugariness sitting on the tongue as somewhat tart notes dance around the edges. I get all too brief a moment of beer like notes. This is too sweet, to chemical like as I seem to be getting yucky aspartame. Where’s the beer notes? Where’s the wheat?

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
From the bottle, this doesn’t have much aroma at all. As it warms in the glass, it has a slightly medicinal fruity thing going on. West coast squat twistoff bottle, mostly clear light gold with a reasonable white head. Slightly tangy, underbittered, lightly sweet. Watery and thin. A clingy raspberry finish. I’m a sucker for raspberry ales, but this was just like thin cough syrup. ABC Likkas, Betton.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thankfully tastes like raspberries, not syrup. I’d probably get sick of it if drinking a whole bottle but I only had a few quaffs of my wife’s.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white, pillowy head. Nose smells like the raspberry chew candy I got in my Christmas stocking when I was a kid. Taste is very mild raspberry -- most of what you get is a slightly metallic, slightly funky wheat ale flavor, with a touch of fruit. (Oddly enough, I taste kiwi. The fruit, not the New Zealand native.) Finishes meh. All right, I suppose.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
5/31/11. 12oz bottle. Hazy orange pour with a small off-white head. Slightly tart but very sweet raspberry aroma. Overly sweet, fake raspberry flavor with a lingering hint of sweet wheat malt. Meh.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
as a raspberry wheat ale, its one of the better ones. but of course most raspberry wheat ales are pretty terrible. its refreshing and drinkable, but as with all of these its sweet and syrupy. cant we let wheat beers just be wheat beers without the fruit added?

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Momo’s Pizza - 12 oz bottle. Cloudy medium golden pour, white head. Hint of raspberry in the the aroma with a touch of yeast. Flavor is slightly tangy with some solid raspberry notes, a bit of yeasty breadiness, and just s hint of sourness. Spritzy mouthfeel. Good accompaniment to a calzone.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Massively overcarbonated, big gushing head. Hazy pink orange color. Sweet raspberry aroma. Nails the style, creamy and medium bodied, lots of yeasty smoothness. A really pleasant beer, held up quite nice over a few months as well. Well executed, spot on.

the main problem withis beer is that its too soapy. the malts are harsh and rough with only a mild touch of raspberries. the hops only minute, secondary. not the best attempt

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is pretty much what I would expect from a raspberry standpoint but I am not getting any wheat. It’s more like a cheap lager. The appearance is pale gold with with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with real raspberry but just beer underneath. The palate is thin but OK. Overall pretty disappointing.
