COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This popular beer is refreshing and perfectly balanced with a crisp tartness. It has a clean creamy texture and is bursting with raspberry flavor. It pours a golden color with a huge rocky white head. Itís made with a natural raspberry flavoring and soft and chewy malts that blend to a mild sweetness. Simple and refreshing.

The aroma is pretty much what I would expect from a raspberry standpoint but I am not getting any wheat. Itís more like a cheap lager. The appearance is pale gold with with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with real raspberry but just beer underneath. The palate is thin but OK. Overall pretty disappointing.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was infused raspberries, malts, and sugars. Flavor was yuck. Tasted like soap. Strong nasty fruit flavors. Thinner body. Lots of carbonation. Not a very good beer.

Slightly hazy golden color with big white head and sediment. Smells of raspberry, bug not overdone. Very appealing actually. What I like about it is that the fruit doesnít completely drown out the beer. It doesnít taste like a fruity mineral water or a wine cooler. It tastes like a beer. What I donít like is that there is Way too much carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a medium white head. The aroma is sugary sweet berries. The flavor is thin sweet berries, light splenda. OK.

Sampled on 9/10/2010. This fruit wheat pours a slightly pinkish golden yellow color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grain, a touch of sweetness and some raspberry. A light to medium bodied fruit wheat. The malts are cereal and grainy, with a touch of fruitiness. The hops are herbal. The raspberry flavor is a semi sweet and way in the background, it also seems a little to artificial tasting. I think the biggest problem I have with this beer is that its seems to fall outside of being either a wheat beer, a fruit beer or a fruit/wheat beer. It not any of them, not really all that wheaty and the raspberry flavor is just too mild to have any real influence. There doesnít seem to be any real brewing flaws with this beer, so it could be fixed with a recipe tweak. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is of raspberry although kinda artificial. Flavor is a weak wheat with just a touch of berr at the end. Every brewer makes somethings like this but I donít know why.

12oz bottle poured into a Flute at 46į. Color is a bright light gold with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma of raspberries and flowers. Light body that goes down crisp with a smooth feel. Flavor has a very mild raspberry taste with a bland malt flavor. After taste is flat. Iím disappointed in this brew, these guys usually make a good brew. Got this bottle from a friend and I think it may be aged, I think Iíll buy more and rerate it.

This beer tastes and smells super sweet. If you donít like fruity beers, this isnít for you, however if you are hesitant about the bitterness of hoppy beers, you should give this a try. It has a good balance of raspberries to barley with a tinge of hops and tastes more like a wheat lager.

Draught from tap room. Yellow no head. Smells raspberry and wheat and tastes like that too. No bitter, real sweet.
