Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. An unclear golden beer with a lazing light orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries in the front with lighter notes of wheat in the back ground. The flavor is sweet again with strong notes of raspberries - too much for me with light notes of wheat in the back ground, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Turn down the raspberries, please. The body is thin. Ernest (4217), Boulder, Colorado, USA Sep 9, 2002 Updated: Dec 3, 2005Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), trace yeast (dough), with a note of raspberry. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Simple aroma (not much under the berries) and the thin/fizzy soda pop mouthfeel. Not the cleanest finish. Eh. jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 4, 2006 on tap-pours a thin, lumpy white head and yellow in color. Aroma is raspberry wheat. Taste is raspberry, musty wheat. OK effervescence.
Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Apr 26, 2006 4 oz sampler at the brewery, 4/15/06: Hazy yellow. Very watery. Vaguely razzy but not really. Overall impression: Watery! harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jul 16, 2006 This is just not the greatest fruit beer. Artificial, cloying and overall watery.
