On tap at the brewery. Aroma is very raspberry forward with a a balanced chocolate note and light roast character. Really reminds of the aroma of a raspberry truffle with a hint of coffee. Pours dark brown, but not quite black with a moderately thick dark mocha head with just a touch of a pink hue. Rather nice retention. Flavor is slightly sweet with a moderate amount of raspberry. Light roast and chocolate character, but the dark malts are more prevalent in the aroma. Fairly light bitterness without and alcohol or hop flavors. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied and a touch watery with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, while fairly good, I can’t help but wish this was a bigger beer with more mouthfeel and more chocolate. The aroma makes me wish this wan an imperial stout instead if a dry stout.

On tap @ Twisted Pine. Black pour with a khaki head. Coffee, roasted malt, and some raspberry soda. Chocolate, a bit of earth, and a mild fruity sweetness. Sweet raspberry soda and raspberry chocolates. Roasted malt, earth, and a touch of caramel.

A blend of espresso stout and raspberry wheat, so it’s dark brown with an unusual coffee/raspberry nose, then hints of fruit in the mid-body and on the finish.

From bomber. Pours dark brown with no head. Raspberry aroma. Raspberry taste with a touch of coffee. Tastes like a not disgustingly sweet raspberry wine cooler. Bartles and James may have made interesting commercials, but I never cared for their drinks. :-/ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle shared by brew3crew. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have fresh raspberry puree, chocolate, mild coffee, some sweetness, a slight tart at the edges. I know this is a stout and not imperial, but this still seems thin and that is my only complaint.

December 30th, 2011 - Twisted Pine’s Razzy Xpress held the sampler platters top honors for "most exotic" and "most viscerally appealing" beer, and for good reason. Combining fruit and truffles into a single item is just the kind of winning combination that sets apart high-class restaurants from more quotidian offerings, and typically for good reason. I dipped my nose into the miniaturized glass, taking in lots of raspberry and chocolate, with a touch of the raspberry bitterness that can appear in bursts when your canines find and squeeze a wayward seed. The nose also portends a heavy booziness. However, the aroma is an unskilled fortune teller. Less alcohol appears in the flavor, where the Razzy Xpress instead favors a more sophisticated balance of raspberry mocha, a semi-medium aftertaste of rich, chewy malts, and the appearance of a meek but visible touch of truffle in the back of the mouth.

22oz bottle, shared by brew3crew. Mostly hazy dark brown color. Little khaki - greyish head. Couple loose dots of lace. Raspberry, light coffee in the nose. Very nice enjoyable raspberry in the flavor. Good light bitter, moderate sweet, good bitter taste. Nice long raspberry truffle / cocoa aftertaste. Bigger body. Smooth, very light carbonation. Lightly dry texture. Impressive stuff, unique and tasty

Bomber to snifter (shared by brew3crew). Looks good; a dark cola with ample beige head. Smells solid; dark malt and raspberry. Tastes like it smells, only more raspberry-forward, with a solid mouthfeel. Solid beer.
