3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet up front, which is kinda odd. Usually a beer hits you with hops, then a sweet part, then a sweet finish, but this one is more sweetish, the a subtle hop bite, and a very dry finish. Nice mix of caramel and molasses and rye, and grassy hops.

On hand at Denver Summer Brew Fest 2012. Clear dark amber with a light nutty-hued head. Nose is pretty earthy with accompanying tones of caramel and gym shorts, and dank rye. Taste has a lot of earthy rye and dank burnt caramel with a light herbal bitterness. Meh.
