Aroma is def with funky munich malts, and some very light chocolate notes. Honey and caramel are in there as well. Very aromatic. Color is a very dark hue, nice carbonation. Rye is mostly present in the taste. Taste is a bit discombobulated, but different, they didn’t all mesh well. Aftertaste is spicy with some caramel. Pretty forgettable beer overall, from a brewery that was so highly acclaimed at GABF. This brewery pretty much sucks to me.

Sweet up front, which is kinda odd. Usually a beer hits you with hops, then a sweet part, then a sweet finish, but this one is more sweetish, the a subtle hop bite, and a very dry finish. Nice mix of caramel and molasses and rye, and grassy hops.
