22, waxed, 2013 release (~15% version). Thanks, D! Pours a hazy dark orange with a dense and creamy whitish head. Big sharp orange and grapefruit nose. Creamy thick body. Toasted caramel and heavy, oily hop mid-palate. Hot, dry vodka finish.

Tried at the two bees tap house. Amazing beer. Light in color. Definitely a strong triple with the drink ability of a double. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Something named triple ipa listed as an american strong ale. Ok makes sense. Nose od citrus and floral vodka w caramel and pale malt. Not the worst aroma. Pours golden orange thick looking w oily off white head and lace. Flavors of caramel and pale malt some tea like vodka hop tincture or some shit. Citrus floral vodka finish. Thick and sweet but not completely unpleasant like 120 minute.

As my dear friend put it at PIB, its like hop-infused vodka. A ton of hop bitterness balanced by an overwhelming ABV. Thank goddess this was only served in 4oz tasters.

Sampled on tap at PIB, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent tropical fruits, booze, a little paint thinner and loads of citrus hops. Flavour of pungent mangos and pineapples lightly coated in booze, loads of hops but very well balanced by copious caramel malts. Not too sweet or too boozy. Exceptionally well-crafted for the ABV which is barely detectable. Really an excellent monster and gives the 120 a run for its money.

2012 Portland International Beerfest. A big heavy brew that does a good job of mimicking DFH 120 Minute. Resiny and smooth with a slight alcohol burn on the finish.

Draft at SIBF. Hop juice, pine nose, heavy orange body with foamy thick head. Sopay, thick body. Juicy. Hides alc very well, but very hop oily. Big, quite tasty, would take this over 120min any day. Not ultimately refined but a very interesting beer.

Tap at SIBF 2012. Pours cloudy orange with super floral hops, and a strong caramel malt backbone. Doesn’t taste anywhere near 18% -- super smooth for this strong a brew. It was supposed to be a clone of the 120 minute -- but I’d take this over the DFH brew any day of the week. Nicely done.
