Back in the day 22oz bottle. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is orange tropical fruit notes some pine and a biscuit malt. Taste is more of the nice hop mix and light malt.

Into a tulip, chilled. Settles a burnished orange and hazy with a lot of proteins caught in suspension. In fact it looks like a fresh squeezed fruit in the fact that it is completely still. Head is little more than a sheet of white atop. Aroma of nettles, pine, eucalypt and kaffir lime leaves. Yeasty on the palate. Bready and sweet with licks of diacetyl butterscotch and biscuity malts. Medium bodied and heavy in the finish with a rough, chunky hop profile that is assertively bitter and acrid, and reminiscent of a over-hopped home brew. Grassy, weedy and herbal with ill malt and yeast tones. This one does nothing for me so I do hope this was just a dud can. This would be below average ten years ago. Ugh!!! (12fl.Oz can, unknown date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

355 ml can.
Pours cloudy orange color with a large, lasting head. Malts and resin on the nose, mild pine notes, orange, tropical fruits and hops. Sweet orange and pineapple on the flavor, mild grapefruit notes, citrus and resinous hops, some malt backbone. Probably not very fresh anymore, hops feel a bit muted, otherwise decent.

Can from Mitsuya. Simple malt-forward nose without many hops. Slightly infected on the palate, but not overly so. The infection kind of melds with the beer and brings out a bright tangy overripe citrus flavor. Sweet and tangy but feels a tad heavy. Infected but still not terrible.

Really enjoyable if you want something more complex than a pale, but not over the top like a hoppy West coaster. Aroma of pine cones, slight molasses. Low carbonation, nice balance of bitterness, not very malt. Very easy and pleasing beverage!

12 oz can from Hippo Beers. Hazy orange brown, lot of sediment. Boiled sweet hop aroma. Bitter tropical fruit & hop flavour. Very sharp with bitter lime aftertaste. Too bitter and unbalanced.

A thoroughly decent pale ale - well balanced - super easy drinker - could do with more hop flavour but overall an above average brew - sessionable.

Can: Served in a Chouffe glass: Hazy orange amber body. Creamy head. Aromas of malts and caramel, hops and hop fruits. Nice. Flavour is bitter and smooth hoppy with some fruity tones, floral and light yeast. Aftertaste is fruity, light bitter, hoppy and some grapefruit. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied.

Aroma: Medium-high citrus, orange peel, Medium-light grapefruit, tropical fruit, resin. Appearance: Hazy, light-copper body, small floaties. Medium, off-white head, fair retention, lacing. Flavour: Medium-high bitterness, resin. Medium bergamot, citrus, orange, Medium-light malt, bready. Dry finish with lingering bitterness and citrus, resin Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Medium-light hops astringency Overall: Nice, but the (assumed) hop derived astringency is a bit much. 12 fl.oz. can, poured. Thanks Andre!
