UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Lighter IPA, low on aroma, low on hop bitterness. Not very distictive, but very easy to drink. A decent standby, but underwhelming.

Lots of sweet grapefruit flavors. Mild aroma with not a lot of hoppiness. Thin layer of foam.

Bomber from Chuck’s. Smells uniquely like cereal grains. Beautiful malt backbone tempers the rather mellow hop profile. I will drink more of these and it will be delicious.

Deep golden to amber with white head. Huge grapefruit aroma with a light sweetness. Taste is some citrus hops and a nice malt balance. But definitely hop forward. Pretty nice beer. Aroma is awesome.

22 oz. wax dipped bottle- Pours copper with floaties, especially at the bottom of the bottle, doesn’t have a date on the bottle, but I just realized it says autumn seasonal at the top of the page, and this is late april, that pisses me off a bit, considering we just got this in this area (I emailed the brewer and he says it is no longer a seasonal, its a year round beer now). Aroma is citrus, generic beer, some sort of melon, very little hops in the nose. The flavor is sweet grapefruit, very mellow and sessionable, this is one of the mellowist IPA’s I have ever had. The body is medium, carbonation is fairly low for the style, finish is sticky. Overall, I liked this, if they upped the carbonation, this would be a real tasty beer.

Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of earthiness, pine, biscuit, tropical fruit, tanger ine and light pink grapefruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry watery finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and citrus with a smooth dry watery moderatly bitter finish.

22. Pours a clear medium amber with plenty of rising carb and very little head showing. Plenty of decent sheeting lace. Enormous appealing sweet floral and citric nose, just pulls you in and gets you stoked for a beer as soon as you let your nose stray near the glass. Watery light body, fairly flat. Truly, more’s the pity. One cannot help but think how much more dimensional and present this beer would be in every way if it were to have the advantage of complete carbonation. Toast, caramel, floral, and citric notes on the mid palate, with a mild sweet finish.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy off-white head. Smells floral and citrus cat pee. Med body. Flavor is rough caramel backbone with a lot of primarily citrus hop. There’s floral and lurking resin though. All in all it’s a great IPA.

Cloudy, yellow unfiltered look. Nice hop nose, nice lacing and head. Good ’dirty’ hop taste. Notes of pine, citrus and earth. Yumm.

First tasted this at a beer bar and loved it. Glad to see it in bottles now (though I hope they stop waxing the tops). Overall, it’s a solid IPA. Malts have notes of bread dough and white cake with a subtle caramel sweetness. Hops are citrusy, piney and balancing. Good beer. I look forward to seeing this relatively new brewery continue to grow.
