I am an IPA drinker and keep come back to this as a regular beer I drink often. It has all the characteristics of a great IPA; bold, flavorful that leaves a great after taste.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and sweet malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of piney hops, malt and a bit of citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent IPA overall.

Poured from can into tulip. Pours a nice three fingers of white head, darker golden, bit hazy. Smell is a nice, bitter, fruity ipa smell. Citrus galore. Taste is mellow, earthy/grapefruit hoppiness. Drinkable. Decent beer.

12 oz can from Mainbrew - hazy dark orange with frothy head. Some yeast floating around at the bottom. Citrus aroma and flavor. Pretty good beer. I’d like to check out this brewery the next time I’m in Seattle.

Appearance- Hazy burnt orange. Small dark white head. Lot of lacing. Smell- Earthy, sweet hop aroma. Little bitterness. Taste- Malty and sweet. Earthy hop flavor. The bitterness builds on itself with every sip. It really shows up halfway through the glass. Mouthfeel- Thicker than I typically like but not offensive. Overall- Good IPA. Nothing spectacular, but I would contemplate buying another.

Can served in a tulip. Pours dark orange-amber with a medium-sized head. Good retention and excellent lace. Aroma is pine, caramel, bread, and orange citrus. The palate is similar showing a hearty malt bill and earth and pine. Almost a wet hop presence. Medium body, oily texture, and a bitter, oily finish.

From a can. Pours a dark copper, and aggressively carbonated -- huge head on this one. Mild nose, with a good balance -- sweet grains under the predominant mandarin and pine notes. Mandarin, a bit of mango, and some floral notes in the flavor, which is very hop-heavy. Just a little sticky, and the only thing that’s really knocking it in my book is a slightly soapy note up front. Overall a very tasty effort from a new local place.

GLBN IPA Challenge 2012. golde orange pour. herbal bitterness, pot pourri notes. Bitterness lingers in back of palate. OK

After the lucille I just had this falls a little short on hop profile. Still a pretty drinkable and sessionable ipa. Citrusy orange hop aroma and an herbal finish with a nice subtle sweetness working throughout.
