Courtesy of riversideAK. Bomber pours clear deep copper with off white head. The aroma is full with yummy citrus hops and some tropical fruit notes as well as flowery floral sweet cotton candy and spicy hops. The floral note seems a bit out of place but the other yummy notes sure make up for it. The taste is the same with an initial pulse of citrus hops, tropical fruitiness, spicy hops and some floral hop notes all running amuck across my palate. It seems to move from bitter hops and to flavor hops and then back to bitterness and then hop resin into the finish. Nice and hoppy where the floral seems a bit out of place much like in the nose. Good stuff.

Bottle: Pours a dark copper color with a nice big white head. The nose is full and snappy with a big resin and pine note, plenty of malt backbone to pair. The flavor is dry hop focused with a lightly bitter finish. Nice clean ipa with a big hop forward nose. Very progressive; clean, full flavored and a nice balanced malty body without being too bitter.

Definite floral hops on the nose. Light dough and a hint of fruitiness too. Pours hazy golden with not much in the way of head or lace in my glass. Cyn’s glass had lace and a huge frothy head however. Oh wait, Steph’s glass. Light floral bitterness throughout, not chewy or resiny, but decently hoppy. Not high alpha. Soft doughy malt carries the hops as this remains balanced and easy drinking.

22. Pours a clear medium amber with plenty of rising carb and very little head showing. Plenty of decent sheeting lace. Enormous appealing sweet floral and citric nose, just pulls you in and gets you stoked for a beer as soon as you let your nose stray near the glass. Watery light body, fairly flat. Truly, more’s the pity. One cannot help but think how much more dimensional and present this beer would be in every way if it were to have the advantage of complete carbonation. Toast, caramel, floral, and citric notes on the mid palate, with a mild sweet finish.

Can. Dark orange with lots of floaties at the end of the pour, covered by a thick off-white mattress. Aroma is citrus and pine. Sweet marmalade flavours, pithy citrus bitterness in the finish. A little sweet, but nice.

(12oz can thanks to mora2000) Medium gold, creamy tan bubbles. Nose of grapefruit, bitter, juicy fruit. Taste is metallic, nasty, chemical, acrid, bitter and creamy. Just gross.

Bottle:   Deep amber, huge rocky white head, very nice lacing.   Soft hoppy nose, not terribly bright, almost like a wet hop.   Fresh, yet a little subdued.   Well, subdued is right, not terribly hoppy at all.   Its a little muted in fact, touch of dank basement, minor graininess, decent body, but no real floral or citrus type bitterness.   Its a lighter IPA, if an IPA.   Had this been a blind taste test, I would have said Pale Ale.   Makes a decent Pale Ale, better than Persnickity by far!   Good body, pretty hearty.   Clean finish, but comes across as a little stale.   Not a bright hoppy IPA, seems a touch dank, stale, light, and overall like a better Pale Ale.   Still enjoyable tho.

Draught at Brouwer’s, Seattle, WA, USA.
Hazy amber colour with off-white creamy head. Fruity piney bitter hops in aroma. Flavour is piney, grapefruity fresh bitter hoppy. Delicious. Long-lasting bitterness.
