COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You asked for it, so we brewed it! We took our flagship Evo IPA, increased the malt bill, and added even more of the best Yakima Valley Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra, and Columbus hops to give this double IPA a piney, citrus aroma.

Muddy yellow brown in color, thin head. Nose is funky, a bit sour. Very sweet attack and wet sloppy finish.

Bottle. Was excited to try this until I started reading the reviews. Still glad to try a new one from this local. Pours a medium copper color with a substantial head that holds up ok, and looks good. Aroma is almost entirely sweet malt, which is a surprise. Not bad but a little sweet and almost candy-like. Taste is also sweet malt, and really reminds me of a sweet barley wine. There is some complexity in there, maybe with significant hints of ripe peaches or apricots. The hop bitterness seems to have gone missing until the finish, where it hangs in there with the lingering malt notes pretty well. Overall it’s just out of balance, and while that can work for some beers, it doesn’t with this one.

Bomber. Ruby colored with beige foam. Aroma is a blend of pineapple, tangerine and orange citrus with some malt sweetness at the end. The taste is grapefruit rind, lemon and pine followed by resiny hops bitterness, malt and alcohol at the end. The body is syrupy with soft carbonation and more citrus and leafy bitterness in the finish. Decent although a bit off-balanced.

Bottle:   Deep dirty amber, large foamy off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft hop aroma, slightly sweet, a bit biscuity.   Soft hops up front, not bitter at all, followed by a big sweet malt background.   Towards the end it comes in as very mealy.   Becomes a bit sweaty and dank as it warms.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Lingering mealiness that I cannot shake.   Thankfully its not too lopsided, but could use some more bitterness to counteract the strong mealiness that develops on the backside.   Unlike many IIPAs that seem overdone with hops, this one might be overdone with malts.

Rich mahogany body, a beautiful luminous amber, topped with an ok head. Fruity, juicy aroma with some foresty notes mixed in. Body is juicy fruity, more sweet than bitter, a tad syrupy, but not too bad.

Bomber. Sweet and sticky. Some bitterness but not enough. Finish is citrus and lots of honey.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orangey amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of rich caramel malts, resinous hops, and some residual sugars. Flavour is very malt-heavy for a IIPA, with loads of caramel malts, some honey, resinous hops and some residual sugars. Much too malty for my liking for a IIPA, but admittedly well-made and not cloying. Good stuff.

pours a cloudy amber-red with a small light tan head, a slight amount of sediment, and good lacing. smell is of caramel, roasted malt, and few hops. taste is strong, almost like a barley-wine, caramel, malt, hops, a slight sweetness, and wood. ends malty with a lingering bitterness.

Darker than most DIPA’s. Aroma is lemony and overly sweet. Taste follows suit. A little cloying and honestly hard to drink.

Big, malt-forward double IPA. Lots of caramel and sweet bread. Honey-like sweetness as well. Hops are balanced. Sugar-coated pine, sweet grass and honey-dipped flower petals. Tasty beer, though it drinks more like a barleywine than a double IPA.
