Pours murky dark brown with a medium sized beige head. Good retention and decent lace. Aroma has sweet chocolate malty notes, light roast and piney hops. Medium sweet flavor, mild roast and hoppy bitter flavor. Medium body, creamy-slicky texture, and a mild bitter finish.

Thanks to 5000 for sending this bottle my way. The beer pours a dark brown to black color with a tan head. The aroma features a lot of roasted malt, as well as some heavy pine and resinous hops. The flavor is a little bit different. I get the same roasted malt as in the aroma, but there is also a little bit of chocolate. I also get some pine and orange citrus hops, with a low to medium amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Pours a very dark brown in color with some floating yeast. Gorgeous Irish Spring piney aroma. Toasty roasted malt flavor notes, some grapefruit citrusy hops followed by some sweet caramel. Overall, a nice tasty brew. Thanks to Mora2000 for sharing

Pours a deep, dark brown with a big frothy beige head. Aromas of citrus, pine, cola. Medium bodied, very frothy in the mouth. Flavors start malt dominant with bakers chocolate, coffee, touch of sweetness that quickly fades as sticky, piney hops take over. Finish is long and bitter.

22 oz bottle. Dark brown with a big foamy head and lots of sticky lacing. Mild aroma of citrus, coffee and caramel. Flavor is acidic coffee, bitter roast and some sweet malt. Medium body with high carbonation and a lingering finish. Odd beer, hard to drink much of this one, could have been an off bottle.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Mostly pine and some citrus hops on the nose. Some toasted grains, as well, with a good caramel contingent behind. This barely covers the soapy note that kills their normal IPA for me -- it’s better, and actually has a good blend of flavors, but that one note just jumps out in their brews, and is bringing this one back a couple of points. This one has enough sweet malt to counter, though, and does better than Evolutionary. Not great, but certainly not bad.
