3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours nice and dark. quite stout like. Nice tight foamy head with good lacing. Smells of roasted coffee, chocolate and citrusy hops.
Roast Malt character is present in nose as well. Tastes sweet and rich then hops kick in to balance out. Medium to light body. was expecting a little more from the appearance. Texture a little thin with some creaminess present. Fizzy. Finish is balanced with nice notes of coffee and citrus with medium length.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice stout-like dark ale. Less malty flavors than you'd see a stout, and more hoppy flavors instead. Very robust flavor, with lingering bitterness. Solid!

Pours slightly transparent brown with a thick, snowy off white head. Generous, thick lacing in the glass. Pine resin nose with a hint of grapefruit. Slightly delicate palate with good interplay between bitter hops and light roast. My favorite that Iíve tasted from this brewery.
