Everything from two beers is quality! This amber is hoppy and perfectly balanced. Having just come from the brewery, I can say this can is ad fresh as the beer at the brewery. It has that caramel malt in ess up front, but the west coast hop presence comes in after the first sip. Cloudy dark amber color.

Can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear ruby amber with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel, brown bread crusts, faint citrus. Taste is sweet, more caramel and toffee. Clean finish.

It had a really nice taste to it, above and beyond the average Amber style beer.

At just on cool and into a snifter. Radiant, but hazed ruddy copper with a bad case of the floaties. An off-white, cappuccino foam settles in for the length and daubs a thick lace. Doughy and yeasty nose with hints of Plasticine, rust, Anzac biscuits and damp cardboard. Tannic, astringent and phenolic, band-aid tainted palate. Cardboard malts and touch of peanut husks with a strange attempt at citrus notes coming through late in the swallow. Even more bizarre is the taste of boiled enochi mushroom broth that builds as the glass empties. Thin, watery with a carbonic acid bite up-front. Nothing going for it. Ugh!! Can from Jerry’s. Beautiful pour, nice fluffy head, clear caramel color. Rest is rather pedestrian, normal malty aroma and taste, a bit drab.

Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of caramel, bread, all quite toasty. Hazy copper/amber color, with a splotchy tan head and thick lace. Caramel, light butterscotch, toffee, and moderate bittering in finish. Thin-medium body. A bit strong-featured and dark (as an amber); seems to be edging on a Scotch Ale.

Can. Deep Amber-brown color with tan head and substantial lacing. Bready malt aroma with slight citrus. Rich, bready malt and caramel flavor with pleasant bitterness in the finish. Well-balanced. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Overall, very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can- Pours hazy dark orange to brown with a large light tan head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, rich creamy caramel candy actually. The taste is a less sweet than the aroma led on, caramel malts, toffee, mildly syrupy, semi dry finish with the caramel candy returning after the swallow, almost like a salted caramel candy. Not bad, better than i was thinking it was going to be. Beer falls quickly, losing interest, taste and overall drop one point each.

On tap at Two Beers, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malts and a very subtle hop quality. Flavour is well-balanced, with bready caramel malts and some resinous hops. Well-balanced and fairly robust without being abrasive. Good amber.

Draft - Caramel, light grains and some twig. Cloudy copper with a rich beige head. Light caramel and hoppy bitterness. Nothing exciting but decent.
