Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a slight creamy off-white head. Nearly beige. Aroma is lots of pie spice. Clove and cinnamon seem dominant. Med body. Flavor is very smooth - not too harsh - not too light. Not too sweet. Certainly not dry. Appropriate spice levels. Very nice version.

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pumpkin, cinnamon and clove. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pumpkin, carmel, clove and cinnamon with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Bottle:   Orangish side of amber, moderate to large frothy off-white head, strong carbonation, spotty lacing.   Super strong aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon.   Similar tongue, cinnamon and nutmeg.   Pretty simple overall, and strong, so there is no question as to the type of beer this is.   The one thing I do enjoy is that with the sweet spices, it has a fairly thick body.   Finishes clean, with strong nutmeg and cinnamon.   Could use some more Pumpkin Pie like flavors as its pretty simple, but its clean and has a good body.   Enjoyable local pumpkin for sure.

Draft at GPBF. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a loose sudsy tan head. Big sharp nose of nutmeg and allspice. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Mid-palate is hot and dry, acetic, with heavy spices running riot through the flavor profile. Nutmeg and allspice really throw the roundhouses to the mouth.

jgb9348 (4712) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Hazy brown coloured body with a nice copper glow and a rich bronze tint all with a thick, five centimetre tall tan head - very nice. Aroma of pumpkin - spices of all types (allspice, nutmeg and cloves) with a lot of malt and a good deal of caramelised sugars. Medium-bodied; Rich squash flavour with the light spices and a bit of caramel and nuts noticeable. Aftertaste shows a good complexity with a perfect balance of squash and spice and sugars. Overall, a very well made beer with a nice layer of everything all coupled together. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased yesterday at Brown Jug in Anchorage (Northern Lights Blvd) for US$5.99 sampled in my B&B in Copper Center, Alaska on 23-May-2013.

Beerman6686 (4302) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2012
This poured a darker yellow to orange with a white head. aroma was bland caramel and toffee malt, with light spice int he back. Flavor was much the same, light and bland but not offensive.

maxwelldeux (3576) - Everett, Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear darker amber color with a smallish off-white head on it. Nose is pretty spicy, with a lot of the traditional pumpkin spice elements and a bit of nutmeg. Taste is slightly sweet, and definitely has a lot of spice in it.

Draft at brewery: Loaded with aromatic spices -- nutmeg, coriander, allspice and clove all seem to surface from start to finish. Maybe even a little cinnamon, too. Healthy amount of sweetness wasn’t cloying, but I could only drink one of these because it is very dessert-like. Has a fresh, caramel-pumpkin sweetness at its core. Peppery and drying (from the grassy hop bitterness) in the finish. Festive and delicious beer not doubt, but it’s just a tad too sweet and spicy for me. If you like pumpkin beers, though, this is a must-try.
