Great amount of spice and pumpkin flavor. Very smooth in texture. Best pumpkin beer I’ve had.

I'm partial to this style, and this is perhaps the best "session" pumpkin ale I've tried. Bottle purchased "pre-release" at brewery. Strong pumpkin aroma following a vigorous pour. Perfectly balanced in sweetness and spiceness, over a flavorful pumpkin malt base. Just nice. Incredibly balanced. A- would love to see an imperial version. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy brown coloured body with a nice copper glow and a rich bronze tint all with a thick, five centimetre tall tan head - very nice. Aroma of pumpkin - spices of all types (allspice, nutmeg and cloves) with a lot of malt and a good deal of caramelised sugars. Medium-bodied; Rich squash flavour with the light spices and a bit of caramel and nuts noticeable. Aftertaste shows a good complexity with a perfect balance of squash and spice and sugars. Overall, a very well made beer with a nice layer of everything all coupled together. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased yesterday at Brown Jug in Anchorage (Northern Lights Blvd) for US$5.99 sampled in my B&B in Copper Center, Alaska on 23-May-2013.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a light copper color with a patchy head and a ton of lacing. Pumpkin spices and nutmeg aroma. Gingerbread flavors with a minimum sweetness and a lot of autumn spices. Damn good pumpkin beer, coming from someone who typically shys away from them. Good stuff.

Hazy amber body with rather small, off-white head that ends up as a partially covering film. Extraordinarily spicy and strong aroma of cloves, cinnamon and every other christmas spice you can imagine, this is like smelling a christmas pudding. Strong flavour that is totally dominated by the christmassy spices: cloves, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, ginger bread... Lovely! Moderate sweet taste with a long-lasting moderate to light bitter finish. Close to full body, wonderful creamy texture and soft carbonation. An unusual and delicious brew! I also tried a beer cocktail consisting of this and Rogue Chocolate Stout (got it for free, by the way, I love the staff at Smelteverket!), that is also highly recomended.

Draft at brewery: Loaded with aromatic spices -- nutmeg, coriander, allspice and clove all seem to surface from start to finish. Maybe even a little cinnamon, too. Healthy amount of sweetness wasn’t cloying, but I could only drink one of these because it is very dessert-like. Has a fresh, caramel-pumpkin sweetness at its core. Peppery and drying (from the grassy hop bitterness) in the finish. Festive and delicious beer not doubt, but it’s just a tad too sweet and spicy for me. If you like pumpkin beers, though, this is a must-try.

22 oz. bottle- Pours slightly hazy orange with a thin white head. The aroma is real pumpkin, spices are there, but there is a nice real pumpkin flavor. The taste is the same, vegetal and nice and pumpkin tasting, spices for the style are there too. The body is medium, carbonation is medium high. Overall I liked it, if not a little basic.

Rated two nights ago as part of our annual pumpkin beer night. Bomber. Pours hazy pumpkin orange with a collapsing off-white head. Aroma is full of pumpkin pie spices with actual pumpkin in there. Taste is full of pumpkin pie spices, apples. Body is a little thin. Nice flavor, despite its flaws.

Tap at the Hangover. Lightly spiced, quite sweet, lots of pumpkin. Quite nice though. Full on but easy to drink. As with most pumpkin beers, one is probably enough for me.
