(12oz can thanks to mora2000) deep brown-ruby, ring of fine tan bubbles. Nose of nuts, pecan, brown sugar, and cream. Taste of melon, smoke, nutty, mcream, light brown sugar, medium body and nice creamy linger. Love the palate finish.

Pours dark brown with a couple fingers light tan head. Smell is nutty and chocolate. Taste is robust and roasty like a porter. Lighter bodied. Never been impressed with Two Beers, but this one is a great one.

Dogbrick (6048) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Hazy brownish-amber pour with a medium light tan head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and mild hops. Light body with a sweet malty character and notes of caramel and hops. The finish is short and sweet with a malt aftertaste. Barely average overall.

Not super great. Brown and frothy tan head. Nutty aroma. Flavor is all wrong sour and kind of tangy. Too carbonated.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a medium-dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of nuts, English bready malt, and some faint caramel. Flavour of bready malt, light spices (gingerbread?), toffee, nuts and some English hops. Very light-bodied and pleasant.

Good roastiness, good fruity flavors, and excellent texture. Drinks very well on tap. Aromas not too notable, but excellent deep brown color with good head and decent retention. A standard go to, affordable beer.

Tap @ PW. Hazy dark amber pour with an off-white head leaving minimal lace. Has a brown ale nose, I don’t know how else to describe it. Nutty, flavorful, a bit of alcohol, very good. Medium-light body, hops are defo in the background here. A solid, sessionable brown ale in the English tradition but with an American touch in the roast of the malt.

Draft @ Beveridge Place, Seattle, WA. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty nutty caramel aroma. Roasted malty nutty caramel flavor with some weak smokey hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.
