COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two Birds Golden Ale is a handcrafted, full flavoured ale that is true to its name. It pours golden in colour, is strikingly bright and exhibits grassy, spicy and citrus characters. This brew is crisp, refreshing and balanced. It is the perfect accompaniment to good food.

ALLOVATE (2380) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 12, 2014
Produces up a radiant, Summery gold and fuelled by sluggish carbonation that lifts to little more than a sheet of white atop. Nose is dominated by candied peach, mango and honeydew with a little lychee to round it off. Similar in taste but much rougher with a dusty malt and hop profile in back. Light bodied and effervescent it slips past the tonsils with dramatic ease, quite crisp and short. Malt mid-palate is bready and it has a yeasty, doughy note to it. Esters are there though. Wish the hops shown brighter. Very simplistic and easy to quaff. (33cL, 23/10/14, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Quite a sweet smooth drop, minimal head, nice colour but not perfect and aroma is good. Fits nicely with winter and maybe a casserole.

Non aggressive aroma - smells like peaches. Slightly cloudy with little head. Bitter but no real aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has a very clear dark orange look. Not a strong aroma but a waft of citrus. A bit underwhelming in taste, almost a sense of orange fighting to get out. Fairly smooth. A sessional drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml Bottle. A clear golden colour with a thin head. Grassy aromas with notes of citrus and stone fruits. Floral character, with a light body. Slightly underwhelming, but easy drinking and refreshing.

On tap in NZ. Good balance for a lighter beer, unfortunately overwhelming diacetyl presence in both nose and mouth. I will try it again and hope for better.

On tap at Mrs Parma. Served a golden color with a nice head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus, fruit, bit of malt sweetness and bit of grass. Taste follows aroma with citrus, bit of fruity sweetness mixed with a bit of caramel. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp, clean and refreshing. Enjoyable beer for the style that goes down easy.

Very drinkable Golden Ale, quite hoppy, but a bit thin. Nothing too complex, quite fruity from the hops, easy drinking.
