Deep amber colour with a prominent head, which could hold better. Good carbonation. Aromas of stone fruit and grapefruit. Malty caramel favours balanced with with grapefruit and stone fruits, with a distinctive apricot flavour. A delicious effort

Bottle. Deep amber with minuscule white head and a limited lacing. Immediate aroma of resinous hops although not overpowering, moving into a deep caramel malt. Flavours again begin with subdued, but dominate resinous pine, leading to a roast caramel and bread mid palate and a gentle citrus blossom finale. The hops are fantastic in this beer. Allowing for great flavour and bitterness without being overpowering. Improved as it warmed in the glass, probably about 10•c

The head is robust, the body darkred-brown. It smells hoparomatic, flowery, bit bitter, malty. The taste is hoparomatic, bit bitter, bit fruity, bit malty, flowery. Good.

I am delighted to report sampling this on tap in one of my locals in Christchurch. Rich mahogany colour with a vaguely temporary white head and shafts of bubbles erupting from the base of the glass. Aromas of rich caramel malt, apricots and other autumnal stonefruit. Healthy twinges of bitterness and a lengthy finish despite being served quite cold. It easily passed the ’another one Jim?’ test.

Very drinkable amber, helped by its thinner than usual body. Typical malt driven, bit of fruity hops to balance.

Absolutely love the complexity of both malt and hop driven characters in this beer. Easy drinking without being boring.

Pours a light amber with a thin white head. Nose is tropical and fruity, with pineapple, strawberry and some sweet malts. Taste is sweet, slightly hop bitter and a bit of a biscuit finish. Smells better than it tastes, but still a pretty solid beer.

Clear brown color, light brown head. Sweet, fruity scent. Sweet, hoppy, roasted taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
