Bottle. Pours clear amber orange with off white head and good lacing. Aromas of toffee, biscuit, grain crackers, lightly salty malt character over a light citrus and dried apricot fruity hop character. Medium body, sessionable, but full, medium carbonation, lightly burnt malt toffee character, clean ferment, lightly fruity hops, finishing dry, semi sweet with a lingering astringency.

330ml bottle. Burnt-dark amber colour, foam off-white head and aroma of malt, sweet melon tropical fruit, hops. Taste is malt caramel with tropical fruits, mango and grapefruit hoppy light bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Jado (529) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JUN 1, 2013
Pours a clear russet with warm auburn highlights and a thin beige head. Aromas of pine, flowers, citrus peel and malt on the nose. Taste has hop characteristics up front with grapefuit and pine coming through. The back end though is all malt, with biscuit and rye bread prominent. Well balanced and moreish. Nice beer.

Had on tap at the Union Hotel in Newtown. A decent beer. Nothing special, but still nice.

A medium paced beer. Pleasant fruit hop aroma, touch of grapefruit in the flavour with a mid malt background. Not much bitterness. Pleasant but not exciting.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2012 Really nice subtle pleasant amber ale. Puffy white head on immediate poor that soon disappears but laces the glasses nicely. Aroma of honey and molasses almost like the smell of a kitchen after home brewing. Flavours of slight fruity grapefruit I think with a hint of bitterness. Nice beer! One of the better amber ales I’ve had in a long time.

KeefOz (920) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - NOV 2, 2012
Poured a translucent dark amber colour with a two-finger off white foamy head that collapsed fairly quickly. Laced OK. Moderate carbonation. Aroma dominated by fresh hops. Taste of a pleasant hops bitterness from start to finish. Medium body. Moderately smooth finish dominated by a refreshing hops bitterness.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a clear reddish amber with a nice lasting white head. Nose packs a punch with passionfruit, grapefruit, caramel and little bit of biscuit. Taste combines all the above subtly with a dry finish and mild grapefruit/tropical notes. Very light bodied and the hop presence is rather nice. Subtle bitter finish leaving the palate fresh. Good session beer!!
