Recommended. Very much so. Not overly aromatic, but more than makes up for it with is beautiful taste. Caramel, honey, cocoa, bakeries - all of these flavours come and go in verying amounts with each mouthful. An absolute keeper. Dying to try it in summer.

Absolutely love the complexity of both malt and hop driven characters in this beer. Easy drinking without being boring.

Pours dark brown color with a minimal head. Aroma is malt, caramel, a bit of coffee and floral hops and a tiny bit pine. Malty backbone with a caramel and dark malt tase, a bit of coffee too. Nice hoppy moderate finish. Good carbonation. Like it!

Pours translucent reddish brown, medium bodied head. Smells like caramel, tropical fruit with a hint of citrus. Suprisingly aromatic. Nutty biscuits and caramel malts comes through on the flavour; rounded off by some floral and citrusy hops. Medium in body and carbonation. There is a nice persistent bitterness, despite the malt tones being the key player here. Suprisingly good beer!

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a clear reddish amber with a nice lasting white head. Nose packs a punch with passionfruit, grapefruit, caramel and little bit of biscuit. Taste combines all the above subtly with a dry finish and mild grapefruit/tropical notes. Very light bodied and the hop presence is rather nice. Subtle bitter finish leaving the palate fresh. Good session beer!!

A worthy entrant in the ’low strength but full bodied’ beer stakes. Probably even better than my initial rating indicates (3.9) - so I’ll have to have another to judge.

Pours dark ruby with a large head. Nose shows tropical fruit, cookie-dough, caramel and resinous hops. Very similar flavours: some tropical fruit, followed by rich caramel and cookie dough-like malt. Carbonation seems a little full-on, body a little watery. Very drinkable and enjoyable stuff!

Draught pint at Hart’s pub, The rocks, Sydney. Pours deep red almost Tinto de verano with a medium sized head that quickly minimalizies. Hop notes dominate with strong citrus and tropical characters, some caramel hints also come through later. The flavour is very well balanced with initial bombardment of hop rounded out with some roasty malt, the body is still a little thin but acceptable, This one improves as it warms with some pleasant esters coming though. It finishes long and this is easily a session beer.
