Pores golden with a white head. I very zesty and herb driven beer, floral and citrus definitely coming through and lightly hopped. As many other people have said, there is something I cannot quite put my finger on. A decent beer, perhaps not as balanced for my liking.

Bottle. Hazy, amber, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, & abrupt finish.

From a bottle. Pours a cloudy amber, big grassy aroma, quite spicy with coriander and corn flavours at the back. It has a lot going on, an interesting beer, not bad but I doubt I’d buy another.

From a 500ml bottle on 25/5/2014 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a murky dark golden with a huge, slightly out of control, head. The aroma is very yeasty and basementy, with some fruity notes. Flavour wise, it’s a bit of an odd one. There’s lots of tart citrus (lemon and lime), with some funky yeast, wheat and clove. Not overly sweet or bitter, and lacks any discernible character. Has a medium body and lively carbonation. A bit of a mess really.

Pours a darkish amber with some fluffy white head. Nose is peach, pineapple, lime, and a bit of graininess. Flavor is quite grainy from the corn, some floral notes, definite lime, orange, bitter finish with a twist of lime. Really interesting and tasty. No idea why this isn’t more highly rated.

Bottle, 8C. Light amber with a large white head that lasts well, high bead. Aroma of lime, hay, grapefruit, coriander, white pepper. Tastes of cornbread and lime. No obvious "normal" wheat beer esters. Hop aromatics in the aroma get lost a bit which is a shame. Dry spicy moderately bitter finish with lingering lime. Fun. Presumably when they get a brewery this will be cheaper and then they’ll sell shedloads of this in summer.

mattyhennessy (252) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - JAN 28, 2014
This beer is more of a good beverage to be paired with tacos, rather than actually tasting like tacos. Strong coriander and clove flavours to balance with the wheat. A nice beer but not something to have as an all day beverage

Of the tap with Boydee. Pours cloudy Amber with a short pillowy head that disappears rather quick. I’m not going to reinvent the wheel over the other reviews; this beer is very wheaty with subtle herb notes reminiscent of mild Mexican food. The carbonation is a little high but does not detract from the overall experience as the finish draws out with a pleasant dry linger.

Pours amber with a massive head. Nose shows doughy wheat, wafer bread, herbal coriander, lime and a savoury note. Really does conjure up images of tacos. Some spicy and floral hops underneath. Less intense flavours. Mainly cornbread with a hit of lime followed by a bit of the coriander. Carbonation could be a fair bit higher. Interesting and enjoyable stuff.
