Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is lemon citrus, grainy, with a little yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, grassy hop, light citrus bitter, light spicy palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Hazy light amber. Medium head. Has an earthy aroma, tastes like C hop, touch if citrus maybe but not super well-balanced.

Bottle. Light straw, medium sized frothy white head. Sweet citrus aromas, wheat, honey and a touch of spice. Quite a spicy palate, with lime rind, coriander and wheat. The profile is a little hollow. Highly carbonated. Expected a bit more from this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Australia Day beer #5. 330ml bottle into weizen glass. Pours with an ENORMOUS white head (lucky I used a weizen glass!). Aroma is spicy, lemony, quite subtle. Hazy amber beer. Fresh coriander and grass at first then a wheat taste appears. Some corn also. Excellent developing taste. Finish is dry, a bit earthy. Great beer, let it warm a little.

330mL bottle, BeerBud Advent Pack. Pours pale amber gold with a light head. Fresh fruity aromas including orange, caramel and hints of pine. Rich malty flavours and a mix of caramel and wheat. Interesting and a little different.

Day 1 of my advent calendar.
Super charged burst of pent up fury once the cap explodes off so into a weissebier glass post haste. Misty, sunny gold that shimmers in the sunlight. Head is just a mess as it rises up and out the glass to leave a web of lace in its wake. Very zesty, lime and coriander dominated nose with just a touch of grapefruit, stewed apple and toasty wheat. Highly effervescent on the palate with a sourness and subtle astringency of lime juice. Very tangy with just enough sweetness (corn and citrus fruit) to balance the tartness. Super light bodied with a lime and coriander finish and length. Certainly achieved what they set out to do. Highly drinkable and fresh tasting wheat ale. (33cL, no date stamp, Boozebud Advent Calendar)

Pours hazy straw / light golden colour with smallish white head and has a light citrus and lime aroma. The wheat flavour didn’t come through as much as what I expected but there is a nice citrus hop flavour and the lime and coriander are subtle. This beer is crisp and refreshing and would go down well on a hot summers day.

From bottle in Weizen. Pours hazy golden with fleeting white head. Nice aroma with piney West Coast hops and hints of coriander. Crisp taste with nice spicy notes on the palate. The corn seems to provide a nice balance to the wheat: I find wheat beers a bit hit or miss and this is definitely a hit.
