Sampled at 4 Hands. Holy ABV. This is clear darker gold with a bit of goam. The alcohol is well hidden somehow. A little fruit and malts. Reminds me of a malt liquor. It does burn on the way down.

Draft sample. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel malt, a touch of candi sugar, light citrus, wood, herbal notes and some alcohol. Some yeast and a touch spicy. Drinks less than 16%.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex roasted citrus balanced aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Solid balanced sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a smooth complex solid beer

Draft at the Sybarite Pig. Snifter. Pours a deep gold color with slight haze. Thin head and small lacing. Aroma is very bready with some sweet fruits and cloves. The taste is also very bready and sweet. Cloves and floral notes throughout. You can tell it is high alcohol but it didn’t seem like 16%. Nice medium body with little carbonation. Finishes sweet and aromatic.

Banana and clove with a little green apple and baking spice. Medium bodied with a thin yet slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long boozy warm finish. Overall, great.
