3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. bottle. Had I looked at the label and noticed it was "16%" I probably wouldn’t have opened this for myself. Though, smelling it now, I have my doubts it’s that high. Normal orange pour with a small white head. Aroma of pear, pineapple, sweet malt. Flavor is mildly hot, sweet. Lots of fruit and booze flavors. Some pale malt. Mouthfeel is typical, normal, average. Meh. It’s your anniversary. You can make it as special as you want.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent golden orange with white lacing. Smells sweet with notes of Belgian yeast. Tastes semi-sweet and yeasty with some hop notes. Average on the palate. Underwhelming, and I think the abv listed is too high.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very clean golden color with a very low, filmy white head. Aroma has a very strong apple, bubble gum, light peach and finishes with a lot of clove but it fits with the other flavors present. Flavor has a lot of clove early, moves into a light alcoholic flavor but not at all overpowering, Modest amount of peach and apple provide enough sweetness to balance out the clove and alcohol present. Body is surprisingly hefty for a 16% brew. Beer has very fine, low carbonation that aids in the body. Overall a very tasty beer! Nose is one of the more balanced for this strong of alcohol. The alcohol is just a tad on the high side for the flavor but I would not of expected it to be this high. Great beer is always signified by me continually going back to pour an empty bottle.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
By the taste, I’d never guess that this beer is 16% ABV. The taste is very light, with a good banana/peach overtone. Almost like a Hefeweizen, without the clove or citrus. Amazing!
