3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, this octoberfest styled lager is a darker amber color with large frothy off white head. aroma is of malt and kind of like sweetbreads. didnt read bottle description at first and there was a dark deep core taste i couldnt put my finger on and then figured out is was aged in french oak barrels. there is a mild spiciness to this beer. there is also a buttery slick fell to it.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at home. Nose is oddly sweet, metallic, and synthetic. Malty? Flavors are similarly strange. I get a big sweet chemical taste. Light grassy hops. I don’t know, maybe a bad bottle?

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy brownish red. Aroma of grain and malt. Malt forward with nutty overtones followed by maple syrup. Then the finish is crisp while the bottom drops out and bitterness is left.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to spudclampdawg. pours medium hazy and amber. Head fades to a typical ring. Nose is sweet rich toasty breads, some light caramels, and a touch of woody tannins. Flavor is again, toasty sweet oak, bread, caramels, sweet malts, rich caramel toffee, Medijm full body. Tasty and flavorful. Medium to moderately full sweetness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the Plano Oktoberfest. Pours dark amber with a creamy off-white head. Sweer malty aroma. Nice flavor is dry malty with a light sweetness and rich flavor and feel from the wood aging. Pretty solid, strong Oktoberfest.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, amber pour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is a little earthy, but it has some sugary candy notes. It has a medium body with slick texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with some alcohol in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear orange copper, inch of creamy head with good lacing.plenty of carbonation.
Little bit of malty carmel aroma with light orange fruit citrus, then the typical, mostly that metallic/mineral lager oktoberfest aroma.
Taste is full body creamy with carmel maltiness, citrus almost piney and a dryish kinda harsh citrus finish. Some slight wisky-oak tones. Kinda a oktoberfest imperial almost but still pretty tame.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy orange amber with a khaki head that settles to a ring. Nose involves caramel, spice, oak, resin, light cocoa, apricot, toast, and damp cellar. Pretty sweet flavor, quite bitter. Heavier side of medium bodied, soft carb, syrupy, lightly tingly, with a toasty dry oak bitter finish. Cool version of an octoberfest, nice use of the oak, though this isn’t a mind-blowing beer. It’s just a really nice beer.
