COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a little tip of the hat to our scientific, pioneering neighbors we created the innovative atom smasher limited run artisan beer. A heft, full-bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. However, this beer is aged in our oak foudres to add a complexity unmatched by the imported version of Oktoberfest beers today. Just add Ledersosen!

On tap. Copper in color. Very light aroma. Flavor is caramel and light fruitiness, with a slightly bitter finish. Fairly enjoyable for its style.

Bottle. Orange with a thin tan head. Toffee, alcohol, wheat, and bread. Flavor is lightly sweet. Lighter body with a watery feel.

Copper, no head. Aroma is sour green grape. Sour taste starting out, gets a bit maltier, then finishes quickly with a lot of booze. No carbonation to this, and the flavor is all over the place, not representative at all of the style. Alcohol too heavy.

Tasted from a 12 ounce bottle. Poured a clear amber with a quickly dissipating white head. A solid Oktoberfest style lager. I found this in the back of my fridge. I wonder if it would've rated higher if I had rated one when I first bought them. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cubes comes through again. Deep copper body. Head hard to judge based on plastic cup. Aroma of sweet, toasty malt and grape-ish fruit. Bread crust flavor along with light toffee. Low hop flavor. Medium body with low-moderate carbonation. Malt forward with a lightly sweet finish. Overall pretty good, but now wowing. Somewhat too sweet and could use more balance.

On tap at the Barley House in Algonquin. "Thick" for a lager, with velvety style malt that comes through in waves, with just the beginning of toast as you would expect from a Marzen. Hops in the distant background as you would expect. Due to the thicker body, I would only drink 2 in a session.

A: Red orange dark amber with white foamy head S: Like fall - toasty caramel malts - bread/yeast T: Follows the nose well - has maintained traditional Oktoberfest taste nicely M: Soft carbonation, good medium body O: A great Oktoberfest with one of the best palates of it’s style

Pours red orange and crystal clear with almost no head. Aroma is semi sweet malt and caramel, with a slight raisin character. Taste is oaky up front, with a caramel malt backbone, finishing like toffee. I like this a lot actually. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

this was from draft. poured a nice dark copper color with good a good and foamy head. Nose was pretty good, but dominated by the oak tones on the beer. A more oaked atom smasher on the nose than I remember from last year. This also had tones of malts, blood oranges, and spice tones as well. Solid medium feel but with tones that are still fairly oak dominated. More oranges and malts, but behind some oak tones This was good, but I remembered last year’s to be better than this. It just wasn’t fully working for me and I’m glad I had it off tap rather than paying for a 6 pack
