COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a little tip of the hat to our scientific, pioneering neighbors we created the innovative atom smasher limited run artisan beer. A heft, full-bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. However, this beer is aged in our oak foudres to add a complexity unmatched by the imported version of Oktoberfest beers today. Just add Ledersosen!

Super sweet scent with a little spice. Amber in color with no head and carbonation. Taste is a little boozy and has a hint of cinnamon, it's alright. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Tribe’s Alehouse. Pour is hazy amber with a small cream colored head. Aroma and flavor of toasted bread, light caramel, tea leaves, raisin, and wheat. Finish is a bit of spice and caramel malt with a touch of oak.

Pint pour @ Fountainheads. Dark orange with an off beige head and lace. Taste is caramel, toasty malt, slightly citric. The bitterness develops nicely. Finish is lingering and decent. Overall not bad.

Copper with light, beige, head / Sweet nose of spun sugar and malt / Medium body, malty and sweet, cloying, very low carbonation and hopping / Flavors of spun sugar and cooked fruit / Not true to the style, and ignoring that, not a very good beer.

Rusty orange semi clear pour. Nose is grainy and kinda flat. Taste is oaky, with a nice bite of alcohol, and bitter sweet with some spice. Carbonation is soft, with medium texture. Finish is sweet and dry. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Pours a dark orange with a small off white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is sweet , of toasty malt, caramel, bread, and grains with a long finish and alcohol warming.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.5 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy/creamy beige head. Retention is about average and lots of spotty lacing is left. 5.0 S: This smells absolutely wonderful. Toasted malts, layers of caramel, and that lager yeast twang. Oak adds a nice layer of complexity with vanilla contributions. This is whatever the olfactory version of "smooth" is. It’s just such a pleasant, subtle nose. 4.5 T: The taste can’t live up to the nose, but that’s okay since it’s still delicious. Caramel and toasted malts, subtle vanilla, and a light metallic lager yeast flavor. Everything is right where it should be. 4.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Silky smooth with a pleasant creaminess. Near perfect here. 5.0 D: The best octoberfest beer I’ve had this season. It may not have bold flavors or a ton of complexity, but it’s so subtly well done, that it’s a near perfect beer. ★ 940 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 27, 2015

This was decent but a bit underwhelming in taste. Poured a light orange like color. Some roasted malt and hops.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a mug, the beer pours a hazy dark orange/amber with about a 1/4 inch off-white head that went away quickly. There’s pretty much no lacing at all left on the glass. Aroma is caramel and bready malt, nuts, oak and a bit of tart apples. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma. It’s a mostly malty brew, with the caramel and bready malt flavors being the strongest, and with some oak, tart apple, nutty and earthy flavors noticable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit syrupy with moderate carbonation. Drinkability is good, it’s smooth and enjoyable. I think it’s a decent enough brew, but it’s not something I would buy very often.

Pours a clear golden amber with a full white head that laces the glass. Aroma is caramel and spices. Taste is sweet caramel malt, butterscotch, biscuits and just the right amount of hop bitterness to balance. Top drawer Oktoberfest.
