3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tmongoose (663) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 15, 2013
12oz can shared. Poured out a golden yellow color with a white head that disappears quickly. Mild carbonation. Flavor is mild and sweet. Mild malt backbone. Flavor is crisp and clean mild bitterness of hops but the malt is prevalent. I do,like the flavor even though its light. Good summer beer to enjoy. Tis is one you want to drink colder than most.

12 oz can. FRESH. Light yellow/gold, fresh bread , clean, subtle bright hop aroma. Tastes the same. Goes down smooth with large thirsty sips. The key here is fresh and this is fresh and refreshing.

It’s a lager...yellow gold pour with grainy, yeasty and bready nose. Taste is nothing special, but it is a decent lager overall.

12 ounce bottle. Aroma is pilsner funk. Appearance - clear yellow, no foam, no lacing, no bubbles, very pale. Taste - low levels of caramel, a bit disappointing and dull from a dortmunder. Overall - Blah. I’d rather drink Great Lakes Dortmunder. You guys need to revise the recipe on this one.

Bottle from Binny’s sampler. CRISP. That describes it...a dose of carmel upfront; smooth / slight hops in my nose as it settles; and nice and crisp at the end. Will be back for me...great summer session beer.

12 ounce bottle bought at Binney’s in Bollingbrook, poured a light clear golden yellow color, aromas of hay, grass, and some light caramel. Flaovrs are the same, funky caramel upfront with grassy hops at the end.

12 oz bottle in a trade from Tripplebrew. Relatively fresh bottle with best before date: 09 -10- 12. Pours a transparent gold with thick frothy foam that stayed the duration of the glass. Ample carbonation in the lager glass. Real nice looking. Nose was a pleasant citrus and grassy hop. Taste is much the same. Lemon and clean grassy hops. Mouthfeel was very lively and dances over your tongue. Honestly overall, after I finish the bottle; I was wanting another. Good for the style and better than 90 % of lagers you will find in the U.S. It surprised me and worth a try. Could be a good session.
