CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2007 Bottle best by 9/20/07: Pours an effevescent bright golden with an airy, frothy white head. Aroma of toasty earthy grainy malts and maize with some soapy noble hops. Body starts with a mild grainy malty sweetness and some strange buttery soapy off-flavors toward a drier, bitter finish. Not really sure what is wrong, but I don’t want to finish it. Probably got a bad bottle. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 21, 2006 12oz bottle labeled best before 9/30/06. Poured a light to medium golden color with a very small sized white head. Aromas of grass, light honey, and same graininess. Tastes of lighter grass with a light honey finish. Not really complex, but drinkable. Cornfield (4329), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 16, 2004 Updated: Jul 29, 2005A clear golden color with a generous frothy head, this has a nice, mild malty flavor. The light hopping give it a crisp, clean finish. A tasty lager. Whole Foods Market, Willowbrook, IL
JPDIPSO (4266), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 14, 2002 Dark straw color with a moderate off white head. Mild malt and light citrus aroma. Nice light malt flavor start that gets grainy/husky/earthy peat as it goes over the tongue. Finishes dry and with a mild toasted almond flavor. A very good Dort.
