Bottle from Half Time. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is a "warm" sugary smell. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is bready, almost wheaty, with a little grassy hoppiness. Finishes a little astringent and almost dry. Seems to have mild fruit off and on. Very drinkable.

Golden colour. Nice, clean lagered nose. Crackery/bready malts and a touch of light biscuity character. A little bit of caramel and a decent noble hoppiness. Bitterness is light but present with a decent balance of soft hoppiness. Clean, fresh sweet malts. Quite fresh and fairly authentic. It’s good.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 CaptainCougar (7096) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 19, 2007
Bottle best by 9/20/07: Pours an effevescent bright golden with an airy, frothy white head. Aroma of toasty earthy grainy malts and maize with some soapy noble hops. Body starts with a mild grainy malty sweetness and some strange buttery soapy off-flavors toward a drier, bitter finish. Not really sure what is wrong, but I don’t want to finish it. Probably got a bad bottle.
