COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This French-style country ale is deep amber in color. With a toasty, sweet caramel start, it finishes with just enough hops to clean off the palate. Bon Appetit!

Poured into tulip, a has a reddish tint to it, thin off white head, fruity and malty aroma, kinda subtle. Taste is malty with some vinous fruit flavor, tad bit of funk. Pretty good beer but felt like the finish was missing something.

12 fl oz bottle from Finger Lakes Beverage, served almost cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy orange-deep amber with a large orange-tan foam. Aroma: Quite tangy and funky, woodsy, some sour fruitiness, nice caramel and brown sugar maltiness (somewhat in the background), light citrus, hints of esters, a brothy/savoury note, strawberries, sour berries, toast, pretty nice and interesting. Palate: Medium body, loose, relaxed effervescence. Flav.: A nice blend of rich, friendly, inviting malts and sour fruit/funk, vinous, plenty of strawberries and sour cherries, woodsy, a little cough syrup, more fruit, a bit of barnyard, nice; dry with some bitterness and fairly persuasive sourness, has a decent sour fruit finish, the malts are (sadly) absent from the finish.

A pretty good stab at a rare style.

Deep orange-peach color with a flourish of airy peaches and cream head. Indeed the aroma even smells of toasted malt, caramel, bubblegum, and wisps of peach fuzz. Dry peach skin flavor, light fruitiness and a tannic fruit skin finish.

I was able to try this offering at a business event in Chicago. I was very happy to see they had a local craft on hand and not just the usual suspects. It has a sweet carmel aroma. The beer starts with a sweet roasted carmel flavor and finishes with a nice hint of hops. This beer is very easy on the palate. Can’t wait to get another one when I am in the area.

Bottle pours an almost clear copper color with a small off-white head that quickly turns to lacing. Smells of caramel and toffee. Aroma is pretty much the same. Slightly bitter taste, with subdued carbonation and a medium body. Malts come out in the finish. An enjoyable beer from a local brewer in a soul-less suburb of Chicago which I otherwise avoid. I’ll try this one again.

Hazy red-orange with a lot of sediment particles, a short-lived head that becomes a ring and thick lace that quickly slips back into the drink. The taste begins with strong toasted caramel malt folowed closely by strong tongue-tingling carbonation and mild bittering. Just as that settles in, sweetness grows again until it is all that is left. An interesting brew.

from tap and poured into a pint glass. Pours a dark amber color with a small head that disappears fast very good aromas that are more malty along with grains and citrus aromas very good medium body with a nice smooth feel. Lacking a bit on the mid and finish but with good flavors of malts and citrus’ This is usually a good go to for me. Very good and enjoyable and easy to drink.
