COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This French-style country ale is deep amber in color. With a toasty, sweet caramel start, it finishes with just enough hops to clean off the palate. Bon Appetit!

Was introduced to this beer on draft at Publik House in Peoria IL. I really enjoyed it there. Decided to pick up 6 bottles for home and have been less than impressed with the overall flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I like this one a lot. Not so sure about Biere de Garde -- not much Euro yeast. That said, love the maltiness. Love the sweetness. Very very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

http://imgur.com/GBYLvXI - Bottle. Pours clear copper with moderate white head. Smells of honey, spice, and acidic notes. Drinks smoothly with little lingering bitterness. Light bodied. Tastes of honey, caramel, and wood. Drinkable, but somewhat unremarkable.

Pretty solid amber red colored pour of medium clarity, small amount of white foam on head. Cottony sweet aroma, bright citrus, strawberry, cream and carmel, some sour rubbery british malts too. Taste is light and crisp with an apple-like flavor mixed with light salted carmel, a little sour and effervescent on the finish. Somehwat lively carbonation and a dry crisp finish that’s a little filmy. Nice and light, similar to an english style pale ale but a little more crisp and bright.

Draft at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton. Nice pour into a snifter. Reddish amber in color, the beer had a solid head and lacing. The aroma was mostly malt, caramel and light fruits. Not a very strong overall aroma though. The taste was actually more defined with a malty, almost sweet presence. You get a little of the fruit (either peaches, cantelope, etc,) Mildly hopped but well balanced. Medium light body, medium carbonation. Crisp finish. Not bad for the style.

Deep amber in color with a thin rocky white head. The nose smells of belgianesque earthy caramel and candi-sugar, with a touch of tangerine marmalade and toast. Sweet earthy caramel flavor with a bit of golden toast and something faintly resembling tropical juiciness, with belgianesque dusty yeasty dough eccentricity. Hard to explain, but really really complex and tasty.

A: Deep copper and amber color, almost no head. Lacey on the glass S: It doesn’t have an overpowering nose, smells of caramel and malt can be lightly noted. T: Wonderfully rich and malty beer, not too heavy. Tastes of caramel, lightly fruity/citrus taste and a delightfully slightly bitter end and taste of hops on the finish M: Medium, not too thick O: Was one of my staple beers for a long time. Had this first at their brewpub and fell in love immediately. It’s named for the county I grew up in too which is a nice local touch. I highly recommend it, there’s just a character to it that I really like and don’t find all that often in beers. -BeerandWhiskeyHQ.com

A hazy amber beer with a very small white head. The aroma is toasted malt and sweet fruits. The flavor is malty and sweet with a slightly bitter finish.
