3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I’ve had this many times in both bottle and on tap. It has a nicely balancef flavor with maltiness, caramel, toffee and just enough hoppiness. Not much aroma and its white head dissipates quickly. Low ABV makes it a good session beer. I drink this every Sunday while watching my football team. Overall, while not amazing its a solid beer that remains one of my old stand-by’s.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle thanks to Matt! Color is a clear copper no head. Aroma is weak East and caramel malt. Flavor is the same with entirely too much caramel and almost no yeast. Thin body and almost watery texture. Pretty weak showing overall, mostly just caramel.

Smell is caramel, grass, citrus, yeast and malt. Look is a dark murky brown with gold accents and tiny foam head. Taste is huge in the nutty domain, toast, bread, bananas, and yeast. Very interesting. I liked it

4.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is one of the most underrated beers on this site. It’s sweet, with a complex, caramel malt flavor balanced on the back end by mild hops.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. 12/8/15 code date. Appearance: Amber/brown with a touch of orange. Clear with a moderate off white foam head.
Aroma: Bready, toasty, caramel malt with a light fruity yeast character.
Taste: Rich malt sweetness with toasted bread and caramel dominant. Bitterness is low to moderate. Definitely malt forward.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with light carbonation.
Finish: Toasted malt and herbal hop flavors linger after the swallow.
Overall: Fairly straightforward ale with Vienna/Marzen malt character. Ale yeast adds only a touch of fruitiness. Very malt forward, almost cloyingly sweet
