3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
An interesting flavor that Iím trying to figure out how to describe. Itís slightly peppery, slightly citrusy and slightly sweet. Nice cloudy-orange appearance.

2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nice yeasty cloudy yellow beer with big yeasty aroma with sweet fruity aroma. But then a super sweet, lemon-zest of flavors, almost too much like lemonade.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I stored this on itís side and poured before I realized how much sediment was in the bottle. I poured a little of it out. Starts with very lively carbonation and just a hint of head. Aroma is bananas and diacetyl. I only get a hint of clove. The taste is more like a tangerine than banana. Has a very lightly peppery finish. An interesting entry, but far from the best I have had in the style.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Looking at this you might expect a typical weiss beer, but suprise... its not. This beer looks typical and the aroma is a little sweet, but the flavor is the interesting part. High in citrus taste that is both sweet and sour. Sip slow and enjoy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was a very refreshing wheat beer. It poured a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. The flavor was citrusy with a nice twang. I would try this again and would recommend it to those who enjoy the style.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pretty unimpressive. No head, which is inexcusable in a wheat beer. Palate is thin, as is the flavor. Some wheat yeast notes like clove, but not many. These fellows have produced so much finer stuff.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cloudy amber with negligible white head. Found a smokiness to the nose. Body was weak and watery. Smoky flavor, too. Just didnít do it for me.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2004 Lot 1503. Pours a HUGE frothy head, maybe because I just got home with it. Cloudy amber body. Has a sweet lemon wheat aroma. Sour lemon flavor, with added sweetness to make it bearable. Added to the lemon is banana. Bubbles bite the tongue a bit. Not too sure about the sour aspect of this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Color is a bright, golden hue, cloudy at the top, clear at the foot. Iíve poured the contents of this bottle into a fantastic weizen glass, Aventinus, to insure optimum conditions, and produced a large, fluffy, proud, white head. Aroma is all the usual earmarks for style: fresh, a touch floral, but large with lemon, some spiciness, yes, vanilla, yes, I can imagine cloviness, and thereís a whiff of bananas. Quite enticing and appetizing, but not as large as other weizens Iíve enjoyed.
The palate feels great graininess, followed by a phalanx of hops that continues itís advance throughout the finish. Light body, low malt, but the flavor continues sip after sip. An excellent summery brew that leaves me yearning for more, and anticipating more, perhaps bolder weizens when spring really starts to show itself. Very, very drinkable, but the flavor and aroma is a bid mild for my taste.
