3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy, golden with nice head. Typical hefe aroma of banana, clove, yeasty sourness. Medium bodied, big clove flavor, solid malt, hints of banana sweetness and a slight sourness. Body turns more creamy at the end of bottle. Good crisp flavor that satisfies and makes you quaff this like its going out of style. Thanks Psychprof.

the aroma is that of fresh bananas.
the flavor reminds me of Hacker-Pschorr Weiss Beer.
the palate it sits ok until i start to sip more of it then it starts to get bitter.
besides the bitterness that is a very good german style wheat beer.

Now we’re talking good beer! Here’s a very respectable German Wheat. An aroma to bowl you over, with taste to back it up. Reminiscent of the best Germany has to offer. Must try it again against the Hacker-Pschorr.

A cloudy yellow beer. I just am put off by things that seem to have crap in them. A nice citrusy aroma good wheat sourness. A nice beer for warm weather. Good texture. Nice beer altogether.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2004 About as full-bodied and creamy as one could ever expect out of a bottle. The aroma is excellent, with all of the usual suspects. A tiny flat in the middle of the flavor; but the initial tste and finish make this a top-notch wheat. Yummy. If I can't be in Toronto having Denison's Weizen, then this is the one I want. I must move closer to Chi-town!

A damn-near-perfect Weissbier. Pours a beautiful cloudy yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is dominated by banana, but there’s a nice vanilla hint in there. Flavor is quite sweet, but not at all cloying, with a leaning towards bananas. Lacks the twang that most German Hefeweizen have, but it stands on its own as an excellent beer.

lightly cloudy daffodil yellow. the head made a brief appearance, i think it was white, but i, uh, can’t be sure ’cause it all happened so quickly. spicy (clove) yeast nose with a little sourdough bread crust. classic german flavor, slight sweetness without overpowering citrus. smooth, medium bodied.

Hazy peach color. No head at all in mine. BIG clove aroma. The flavor was strongly clove accented with just a subtle hint of banana. My biggest knock on Two Brothers is that a lot of their beers seem thin in the body. Still this was a hell of a refreshing beer after mowing the lawn.
