Commercial Description:
With nice, malty sweetness and a soft aroma of clove, vanilla and banana, this German-style hefe weizen is unfiltered for a glowing orange hue.

The clove and vanilla from the commercial description are definitely noticeable. Citrus-y, with coriander and some wheat presence. Lemony also. Not a bad wheat beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy body. Aroma is wheat and malt. The taste is wheaty and a little funky. Not a great hefe.

12 oz bottle courtesy of brentfeesh pours medium cloudy orange with a slightly sour, yeasty and orange aroma. Big time creamy head that sticks around a LONG time. Very sweet taste with alot of orange, lemon, and syrup. Very thick for a hefe, imo. Also, a bit sour as well, but fairly easy going down, just not what I expected.

12oz bottle courtesy of a friend at work. Pours a light clear orange until I dumped all the chunky sediment into it. Soft aroma with clove spice and a hint of banana bread. Nothing too overpowering here. The clove and banana are well balanced with a pleasant lemon citrus. The wheat is very light. Crisp and quenching mouth feel. Good brew.

Bottle courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours a hazu amber with a white head. Smells of cumin, oranges, some wheat. Tastes of coriander, citrus and earthy.

12 oz bottle into shaker. Nice (very) hazy honey golden color with a good white head that holds and laces well. Typical yeasty wheaty aroma with some clove, coriander, and orange peel in there. Flavor is the same - very typical of style and extremely simple and complex, but very balanced and flawless and highly drinkable. Light bodied and fresh on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall:not my favorite (or the most complex) style; very simple but good and balanced and refreshing. Great summer session brew.

Bottle. Loved it. Aroma is crisp with hints of citrus. Appearance in the glass finds a classically cloudy gold body with a good head. Refreshing on the palate and quite flavorful without the spices overwhelming things. I already bought a second 6-pack.
