Carbonation is on the low end with almost no head at all. It does have that nice unfiltered hazy look. Nose is wheat and a mild presence of vanilla. Flavors are yeast, grain, with notes of banana and I can pick up light nuances of vanilla. Some grain. It is an enjoyable American interpretation of the style. And an fresher bottle or on draft would bump up the numbers a bit. Still I enjoyed it much and could drink a solid amount of this. Pretty well made.

Drought. Slightly hazy rich yellow color, small white foamy head, fresh citrus aroma, sweetish orange peel taste, fizzy with a long finish. Lasting orange peel taste in your mouth.

341 ml bottle from Albatross. Pours a very veiled whitish yellow with a short-lived white head. Flavor is bananas, bread, cloves, yeast, vanilla cake, oranges. Finish is bananas, cornbread, touch of vanilla and very subtle herbs. Average body. Excellent, great tasting hefeweizen - as good as they get.

pours hazy pale yellow with a decent white head, some retention and lacing. cloves, clovey phenolic bananas, maybe a tad strong on the phenols, malt breadied sweetness, peppery, yeasty, doughy, hint of lemon, relatively dry mouthfeel. soft carbonation, light body - some texture, short grassy-herbal finish. nicely done and in a classic way.

A decent Weiss beer as far as they go. Not much if a fan if this type of beer. Pours light yellow and has a citrusy bite.

Crisp, light, and smooth. Hints of citrus, banana, and spice. Very nice and refreshing.

12 oz bottle pours a cloudy golden color with small white head and some lacing. Aroma is full of bananas, wheat, and cloves. Body is medium with only slight carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky. Taste is sweet with a short, slightly bitter finish. Easily drinkable and enjoyable. I’ve tried better German Hefeweizens, but this is a delightful offering from a local brewery.

Pours a cloudy golden with a thin white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, grass, and banana. The taste has most of these elements, especially banana and grassy elements. Aftertaste is the same and is short. Light in body with more of a slick texture. I don’t think this is anything very special.

A really nice beer from Illinois. It pours a light golden color as you take in the aroma of bananas. There is a very good banana/wheat taste to it that make for very smooth and easy drinking. Only thing stopping this beer from being fantastic is it could use a little more carbonation.

Gold,good carb,little to no head,some haze.
Aroma has some caramel,mineral,bannana,clove.
Same with taste but a bit more noticable clove and with floral character.Light/med.light body.Kind of spicey finish with floral notes.citrus crisp finish Its ok.
