With nice, malty sweetness and a soft aroma of clove, vanilla and banana, this German-style hefe weizen is unfiltered for a glowing orange hue.

Pours a cloudy golden with a thin white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, grass, and banana. The taste has most of these elements, especially banana and grassy elements. Aftertaste is the same and is short. Light in body with more of a slick texture. I don’t think this is anything very special.

Hazy yellow pour. Aroma is wheats and floral. Flavor is sweet, some orange and what but not too heavy. Sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hefe with strong banana notes. I’m a banana beer fan, so this is high on my repeat list. If you don’t like banana as the front runner steer clear.

On tap at the Pony Bar NYC. Pours hazy yellow with a big white head. Smells canned fruit, fruity hoppy. Tastes fruity hoppy, canned fruit, banans, a bit sweet with a mild bitter finish.

On tap numerous times, including at Warrenville brewpub. Prototypical and perfected Hefeweizen. Notes of clove and banana. IMHO the best American take on the Hefeweizen. Only slight cloudiness and light body. No grit in the mouthfeel. Very good.

Bottle @ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH --- Hazy light orange amber, white head cover, light lace streaks. Taste is malt and wheat that move through a solid carbonated swallow, adding caramel toffee and light bittering in a medium length finish. A very appealing Weiss - recommended.

12oz bottle. Orange-tan body, slightly hazy. Thin white head. Really clean, fresh weizen. Everything is balanced well. Solid dry bitterness, clean malt bill, mellow wheat banana. Solid offering.

Cloudy gold pour. White head diminishes quickly and leaves spotty lacing. Typical hefe nose-- banana bread. Faint floral hops. Medium body. Lots of banana and spices, bit of floral hops in the finish. Clean and no overpowering flavors. Not my favorite style, but enjoyable.

Bottle. Cloudy honey-orange with an expansive fluffy head of white. Aroma blends clove, banana, vanilla and orange, with an emphasis on the fruits. The flavor is soft and sweet, with mild fruity wheat fading to vanilla and mild banana before a gentle tang at the finish. Creamy medium body; moderate pinching carbonation. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
