SETANTA (556), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 5, 2006 Very good aroma, strong clove/banana, good deep straw color, slightly more sour than I would like for a drinkable weissbier, but not unbearable.
jjpm74 (3086), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours a hazu amber with a white head. Smells of cumin, oranges, some wheat. Tastes of coriander, citrus and earthy. 502Flavors (267), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 4, 2008 12 oz bottle into shaker. Nice (very) hazy honey golden color with a good white head that holds and laces well. Typical yeasty wheaty aroma with some clove, coriander, and orange peel in there. Flavor is the same - very typical of style and extremely simple and complex, but very balanced and flawless and highly drinkable. Light bodied and fresh on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall:not my favorite (or the most complex) style; very simple but good and balanced and refreshing. Great summer session brew. falkirk005 (21), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Loved it. Aroma is crisp with hints of citrus. Appearance in the glass finds a classically cloudy gold body with a good head. Refreshing on the palate and quite flavorful without the spices overwhelming things. I already bought a second 6-pack. hogan873 (195), Joliet, Illinois, USA Sep 2, 2008 I’m impressed by this hefeweizen. Cloudy amber body with a medium white head that leaves a little lacing. Very nice aroma of banana, spice, and yeast. Very clean and bright on the palate...good carbonation. One of the sweeter hefeweizens I’ve had. Sweet citrus, banana, and some tropical fruit notes. Finish is aptly spicy with the clove making an appearance. A very enjoyable beer. drfabulous (737), Columbia, Missouri, USA Aug 26, 2008 I’m liking this brewery less and less. Something wrong with this wheat. Not for me. A bad finish.
