Flavor has a light sweetness melded with a very fruity citrusiness and abundant, estery yeast. Finish is tart and shows some wheat malt. Surprisingly sharp and acidic in character. Refreshing. fraternie (710), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Slight spice but not very yeasty...a bit too carbonated perhaps. Not perfectly smooth but above average flavor for a wheat. Banana notes in the finish. jskendzel (602), Washington DC, USA

Not sure if this was intended, or if the bottle I got was past due. Still a decent brew. Kinda tastes like lemon juice was added. Could be a bit smoother. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Murky orange; very similar to all the Weissbiers I had on my recent trip to Munich. Although Two Brothers captured the essence of a true Bavarian Weissbier, they were not able to create a brew that produced the wonderfully large, billowing heads characteristic of the native German style. Also, although they deserve kudos for leaving the Weissbier unfiltered, the dark yeast in a good German Weissbier wasn't quite the same in the Ebelweiss. Still, a good effort and one I'm sure would give native Germans a longing for home. gws57 (1151), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Interesting hazy golden yellow color with almost no head. Nose of banana and orange, smooth and drinkable with a mouthfeel of milk, wheaty and malty. Quite sour for a wheat beer. Mine was served with a wedge of orange. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Mild citrus sourness and fresh fruit is prominent with a banana bread sweetness also at the forefront. Clove complements the background without becoming cloying, as it should. Easy on the palate and refreshing.
