3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz - Aroma is full of caramel and resinous pine hops and a touch of oak. Flavor starts with doughy caramel malts followed by tangy hops. Palate starts creamy and finishes bitter. A very tasty DIPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours to a glowing orange body with a tall and lasting light khaki head. Awesome lacing. The aroma has a sweet cereal and oak thing going on mixed with sweet hops. Corn Pops or Captain Crunch? The flavor is sweet lightly oaken cereal with some bitter hops. Surprisingly balanced. A bit sticky on the palate and the IBU’s don’t shine. Medium bodied and not crisp.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Slightly cloudy amber pour with a medium off white head with good lacing. Aromas of pine and soy sauce. Sweet, slightly toasty malts with a complex and strong hop profile. This is...just great.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is earthy notes of wood and hops. Flavor is some of the most savory hops,I have had the pleasure of tasting. It had a very light citrus taste and a bitter lemon like finish. The wood notes are subtle but present and make this something well worth the experience.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Princeton’s. Orange/brown pour with good head. Oaky, malty aroma and flavor with hoppy notes also coming through in the flavor. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Slightly bitter bit in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big thanks, as always, to the MCLK. Pours clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma is afoul with spicy hops, a dash of earthiness, big grapefruit and orange rind. The taste is smooth and a tad thin with suitable levels of spicy hops, grapefruit hops and a dash of sour to tart orange ring. It seems midway and to the finish a bit of sweet malts and possibly a wood note surfaces amid all the hoppiness.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz bottle. Thought Heavy Handed IPA was good, but excited to try this, as I like other stuff by Two Brothers. Pours a reddish-golden color with a tiny off-white head that dies quickly. Smells of caramel malt and light hops. Tastes of malt, oak, and a hint of hops, but is really boring. Light bodied too. Not impressive.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the 22oz bottle a rich copper color with a dense, creamy, off-white head sitting atop the brew. Aroma hits your nose as soon as the bottle is opened. A pungent citrus nose abounds with a mild resiny note, strong toasted malt note (akin to either a Maris Otter or Munich malt backbone) and finishes with some mild caramel sweetness. Flavor is very well balanced with a strong citrus and resin hop punch in the early going but this eventually fades to a smooth toasted malt and low sweet caramel malt notes. Body is moderate to heavy with low carbonation that keeps the head nice and dense, allowing a great amount of lacing on the glass to form. Overall a very well balanced brew with a great combination of solid hop flavors and toasted malt. If you’re a hop head, this is a fantastic brew to grab and enjoy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fresh bomber, courtesy SoLan. Pours a lightly hazy, golden-orange to amber color. A tall, frothy head of ivory tinted foam is well retained, leaving thick, sticky, cobweb-like lacing all over the glass. The aroma shows a big toffee and caramel malt base, slightly buttery, with soft hints of vanilla and toast from the wood. Citrus blossom hop notes boom from the glass, but seem a little muted, taking on an orange marmalade profile. Flavors are nicely blended and balanced, again showing honeyed toffee sweetness with a countering, citrus hop punch. The palate is full and lush, but also slightly sticky and cloying, finishing slightly boozy. Solid brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Nice orange-amber color, shiny! Rich with full-on malt and a big, rich, piney hoppy character. Slightly metallic, but quite quaffable, delivering a nice balance of BIG and flavorful. (#3794, 1/12/2010)
