Grapefruit zest, sweet piney hops, pineapple, carmalized sugars, and sea salt aromas. Truly well balanced in the nose. A smooth and creamy IPA with a high drinkability. Almost perfect in my opinion. Lost a point for a slight bitterness in the finish that just didn’t mesh with the aromas. Still, an excellent IPA and one of my favorite all around beers. aracauna (2374), Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2007 Pours a very clear copper. There’s plenty of caramel malt, but this is very moderately hoppy for an IPA. It’s lightly sweet. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA

Pours dark amber with a small beige head that leaves stringy lace. Aroma of toffee, earth, oranges and floral hops. Flavor is sweetish, with caramel and ripe citrus, dusty/earthy notes abound in this wet hop brew, with floral and a bit of evergreen. Medium body, tingly carbonation. Nice to get a chance to try this. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottle. Clear copper pour with a frothy off white head. Some stripes of lacing. Aroma and character defined by caramel malt sweetness with big leafy hops. Fresh tasting hoppiness lends a mild orange tea flavor, leaving a tannic as opposed to resiny bitterness on the finish. Nicely balanced. Refreshing. Pretty good. monetthecat (2), USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Wet hopped IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 25, 2007 Dark amber. Surprisingly sweet malt aroma. Spicy hops dominate the taste at first sip, but this was balanced pretty well. Pretty smooth, lightly bitter finish. Great beer to grab a six pack of.
