| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Dark amber, creamy off white head. Soft fresh grassy earthy notes flow over hints of citrus, butterscotch, and toasted toffee chips. Flavor is balanced with grassy earth hop flavors and sweet toasty caramel malt from beginning to end. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, lightly bittersweet finish. Good session brew... alexsdad06 (1080), Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 10, 2007 12 oz. bottle lot # 2617. Pours a clear copper color with a rapidly diminishing off white head that leaves some lacing. the aroma is subdued pine and floral hops with a little malty sweetness. The flavor has even less hops than the aroma, some medium sweet malt early, then finishes with a non discript bitterness. How old is this batch? It seems to have lost the qualties of a good IPA. Just a mild hop taste with a slightly sweet finish. Overall, very drinkable, but nothing special. hombrepalo (763), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Bottle, Poured a deep amber color, some head, strong aroma of hops, malt and yeast. a nice taste a bitter ending like all pale ales. To me this is a stronger version of Sierra Nevadas’s pale ale. I like it! cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

You know, like cutting off the crust and leaving just the white stuff? In the glass has an IPA olfactory, floral hops and such. Filtered clear ruby iced tea color. As expected on the flavors, rude bitter medicine. Lingering finish . IMHO, a decent IPA that lives up to the style. I’m done buying IPA, my baddy. Somebody give me a chaser. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
