Bottle. Nice caramel and (grapefruit) hops aroma, malty and presumably thick. Some light sweetness there. Pours copper with a brief off-white head. Bitter hoppy taste, not quite rubbery, and a little oily despite a thick, creamy, full body. Hoppy and resinous. Maltier than most IPAs. Milde Weltanschauung. Sessionable with restrained but deeply satisfying flavor, really could drink a lot of this.

An excellent beer all around, you would be proud to serve this at your next tasting. The taste? To hell with my opinion, get some and try it. You won’t be sorry.

Lot 2556. Magnifying and polished copper-brass in color with a fuzzy, grayish tan head fizzling away on top. Solid hop aroma with a touch of fabric softener amidst the rutabaga, mango, papaya skin and plummed grapefruit pulp. Some nectary toffee meets an aromatic amaretto-ginger surplus to provide a decent whiffer. Lovely flavor hop performance and mouthfeel status is attained at first sip. Pralines and caramel butter meet candied spruce in a jovial sap fashion. Supple carbonation with orange buttered toffee slides in with smooth citric affirmations. Hearty mango innards and stiff papaya work it out with greasy graham crust. Cherry pipe tobacco peers in with a mild hotness despite the low ABV. Crystallized ginger dulls the taste buds minorly, but suitably. A spearmint leaf lined with maple and caramel currants carry through unto the finish. Well played.

Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear amber with an average size lasting foamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Looks great! Wonderful aroma of sweet malt and resiny hops -- very well balanced. Flavour’s also a nice balance of sweet malt and resiny hops along with a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not much to say really, this is a nice, easy to drink IPA and would make a great session Ale.

I’ve been impressed with every beer I’ve yet tried from Two Brothers, and greatly appreciate the OG, ABV, and IBU numbers on each of their offerings. Copper red with abundant white head. Aroma is a sweet-hop smell. Taste is sweet at first with a hop bitterness at the finish. Very pleasant. This beer is not an over-the-top hop-soda (which I also enjoy), but is an extremely good, more middle-of-the-road, IPA. Bottle bought at Breeze-Thru Liquor in Milwaukee.

Bottle. Rich, amber pour. Piney, slightly sour & grassy aroma. Fresh hop flavor is apparent, and although it could be perceived as a little rough, I really like this beer. Nice offering from a small brewery that has impressed me thus far.

Bottle. Not the typical time of year to start trying new IPAs, but this one just came available at my favorite walk-up. A surprising, solid IPA. Nice citrus aroma. Noticable piney flavor. A terrific bitter, hoppy kick on the finish. Smooth and balanced. Very nice all around.
