After stouts and porters, give me an IPA. And this one isn’t bad. Hazy amber body beneath a small but frothy white head. The familiar hint of grapefruit, some floral, and a modicum of malt. Good balance. Fairly light bodied with medium carbonation. The flavor is crisp and clean and refreshing. Citrusy. A good drink.

Dark amber color with no head. Light hop aroma. Disturbingly well balanced between malt and hops in the taste. There is the obvious floral and bitter elements, but the malt backbone is solid enough to actually support them. Not too complex, but a damn fine and tasty IPA.

Just a tad better in my opinion than the Sierra Nevada IPA. Nice hops. Nice finish. Good amount of bitterness, but not too much. Nice woody aftertaste. Solid Chicago brew.

Pours a murky light orange when the yeast is added in. Little white head that skims across the top of the body until the glass is empty. The aroma and flavor are dominated by earthy and citric hops. Some toasted malt flavor comes through. A slight bitterness in the end, but it lingers for quite a while.

Orange Coloring with White Ring. Hops, Little Aroma...Dry...With Hops Coming Out Towards the Finish... Pretty Balanced and Subtle... Hard to Hate a Smooth IPA.

Cask, with Jaymobrown and a topless-at-times sexy waitress. Solid malty nose that is boqueted with grassy and citrus notes. Soft and perfectly served, the balance is just right between the toasty and caramelly malts and the bitter hops. Included in the notes, "the totally hottest chick just showed us her tits, beer points" Not sure what "bber points" was supposed to mean, but I’m guessing that her flashing made the beer taste that much better.

Sweet grassy, citrus and herbal nose. Flavor is quite herbal - juicy up front, herbal bitter finish. Toasty malt.

Pours a semi-turbid deep amber/orange color with minimal head...4 for appearance. Aroma of malt, hopcit, slight fruit...decent...8. Tastes malty, with a solid hop presence coupled with slight scotch and apricot. Fairly dense palate with a semi dry finish. Not an elite IPA, but excellent nonetheless.
