Editor’s Note: All Two Brothers Hop Varietal releases of Heavy Handed are kept seperate due to a lack of ability for the average consumer to distinguish these brands. We encourage users to note the vintage and varietal in their rating, but more often than not, most raters won’t know this information without researching it.

I've had this before, and now I glad to have it again. Pours translucent and orangish yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, pine, citrus and dry grass. Full bodied and with enough sweetness to somewhat balance(but it does favor the hops). Dry finish. A very good IPA.

A nice hoppy aroma on an amber beer. Citrusy flavor, with a sharp bitterness in the finish. Pretty darn good.

Nice white fluffy head under some woody, herbaceous hop aroma with wood and herbs a major presence in the mouth (becoming more floral as it warms), but in no way overpowering the excellent malt character. Fittingly bitter finish. Very good IPA.

Nice white head. Medium hop aroma with lovely auburn color. Good IPA style. Earthy hop flavor with a delicate bitter aftertaste.

orange and trippy looking when your drunk and theres lights around...spicy east coast hoppy nose with some creamy elements lingering around too..grapefruit flavors with lots of bitterness and not enough malt backing..subtle cream..needs more malt presence

Having had only one other beer from this brewery (earlier the same day), I wasn't certain what to expect from this brew. The color is a dark orange, verging on copper, with a nice aroma. The flavor is hoppy and full, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. This beer is a pretty good experience, only lacking that special something to take it from very good to extraordinary.

Pleasant hoppy aroma, bronze color, heavily hopped and wonderful to drink. This IPA has taste.

This beer promoted it's hops. Well time to test that out. This beer poured a light copper gold color and formed a nice bubbly very light tan head that left some nice lace. The aroma was defininately of hops, though not as heavy as Stone's and some small amount of citrus was present. The flavor was of hops and slightly of caramel. It finish was slightly bitter and the body a bit lighter than some of my favorite IPAs. A good and hoppy IPA, but Stone's still beats it out.

Hazy golden orange. . . nice lace with a small lingering head. Very pleasant dry piney hop leaf flavour. . .Citrus and floral notes also come out on the back of the tongue, good IPA.

Good ipa, this brewery is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Well balanced brew that is not overly hopped. There is a slight metallic taste which hurts the overall rating
