Two Brothers Heavy Handed India Pale Ale

12oz. Fresh nose on deep ruby body. taste is piney, resinous with pepper. close to a hoppy red ale. biggering, metallic aftertaste isn’t great. nice, different IPA.

Overly carbonated. Looked like I was drinking a rootbeer float. Color is a hazy copper. Aroma is subdued. Massive lacince from that rediculous head. Flavor is a bit light, watery and somewhat sour. I don’t any wet hop taste I was expecting.

Pours a murky and dark red hue with frothy white head. The three C hops are at work here and gives us a good solid but slightly undistinguished IPA. This is a very drinkable and a brewery I was not familiar with but will now look for more.

12 bottle lot 2748 in pint glass. Clear copper with lasting flat head and lace. Sweet unfresh fresh hop and ripe fruit aroma. Balanced flavor with some caramel ripe fruit and medium bitter long finish. The fresh hops floral quality must have faded. Not bad.

Cask at the Brazen Head. Malt sweet and sweat aromas, some cedar and bark. Kind of sweetish orange flavor, lightly bitter. Not terribly exciting.

Bottled. Pours a clear copperish color. Decent hop aroma with a bit of maltiness. Some sugars as well. Fairly hoppy flavor with a bood amount of sweetness. Good balance. Finish is quite bitter.

(bottle - 12 oz) Rich amber in color with a fizzy and lasting white head. Aroma is a light mixture of hops and caramel malts mixed with some light citrus and pine. Flavor has a good hint of floral and bitter hops mixed with some tart citrus, lightly sweet malts, and a light smoky note. Finishes dry with a lot of bitterness.

I had a pint at two brothers tap house. The beer has a fresh hop aroma, with flavors of caramel, and citrusy, piney hops. Quite enjoyable beer, I could drink this every day I think.
