My first beer from this brewery and it was better than expected. Very hoppy but didn't seem to bite. Maybe a bit thin. Good but with so many other great IPA's it has a lot to live up to.

Bottle from Antioch. No bottle date. Pours amber orange. Some head. Some lace. Pine, citrus and some earthiness leads to a taste with caramel, heavy pine and chewy resin. Crystal malts and earthiness follow. Syrupy. Would have put the abv higher than 6.7. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet, and gets more so. Meh. Decent, but nothing to write home about. 13.7
