Two Brothers Heavy Handed India Pale Ale

Bottled. Dark amber, non-existant head. Lychee aroma. Sweet with abruptly short mouthfeel, but lingering hoppiness. There’s some ash and apple in there, and the short finish is harsh and bitter. A mediocre IPA.

Bottled (thanks drewbeerme!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is hay and hops along with some mild eggy hints. Flavour is hops, hay and some grass. Not very exciting.

cloudy orange, over abundant frothy white head, creamy body, bitter floral hop aroma, balanced flavor with dry caramel malt and lots of hop bitterness, a bit of sweetness slowly grows but the bitterness rules to the end,

(12oz bottle, Lot 2704) Very small beige head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, pineapple, orange, some pine, light floral. Taste is medium sweet, pineapple, pine, grapefruit, some orange. Good bitterness, but not overwhelming. Medium body with fair amount of resin.

Amber/copper color, small off-white head. Cut grassy hops in not so intensive aroma. Malty, sticky hoppy with average palate. Nicely drinkable IPA.

Poured a dark amber color with a huge (5 finger) off white head. Aromas of mainly citrus with light pine. Tastes of grapefruit, light pine and oranges. Medium to heavy bitter taste. Lightly spicy. Has a sweetness to the finish.

(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy amber body with an off-white head. Nose of grapefruit, pine, and malt. Good hoppy flavor. Bitter finish.

Big on hops, but could use more malt. The finish is sticky and bitter and could use some balance. Still a drinkable ale, but an average one.
