| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2006 Dark Copper with little head, low carbonation and a slight chill haze. Aroma had hints of citrus, however, very faint hops aroma for an IPA, just too malty. The hops flavor did linger after ever sip. Not bad, but there are definitely better IPA’s. booyaatribe (453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 1, 2003 This is a good'n. I was put off from these guys because of Prairie Path ale, but everything else since has been quite good. This one is somewhere between Victory Hop Devil and Sierra Pale Ale in flavor. That's good company. MOboy (446), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2002 Heavy handed? Well, at least you can tell there is much more care that went into the making of this IPA compared to others. A beautiful bread like head that lasts the entire pint. Fresh dry hopped aroma. This beer first hit me as very thn but soon developed into a slick, soft beauty. Pretty damn good balancing act between the malt and hops. mnurda (439), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2005 More of an APA than an IPA. To tell you the truth, Ive been much less than impressed with Two Borthers’ offerings, and this is no exception. Pours a crystal clear copper orange with some whitish head that dissipates rather quickly. No bubbles anywhere to be found. I really hate filtration and force carbonation. Nose is rather light, a mix of floral and citric hops, along with some dough. Taste is rather weak, certainly not "Heavy Handed". Begins with a rather thin and boring malt mixed with some more floral hops. Finishes bitter and dirty, almost a dusty or ashen taste. The only thing going for this beer is its extreme sessionabilty, not something I was expecting from reading the label. Where did the 62 IBU’s go? madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 29, 2007 2007 Bottle. Lot 2847. Pour is deep amber, hazy, thin off white head. Aroma is pine and resin. Taste was hard to say if it was citrus or pine, but above average bitterness. Good malt backbone. Lively mouthfeel and full. Finishes bitter. TheEnemy (423), Chicago, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours clear auburn-amber with quickly dissipating pillowy head and nice lacing. Very inticing citrus & pine aroma with some malt showing too. Take a sip -- what happened to the malt I detected in the aroma? Flavor is all hops, mostly piney and bitter -- where’d the floral and fruity notes go?. Seems more bitter than its indicated 62 IBUs, though some of the bitterness subsides as it warms and the malt almost makes a showing. Medium mouthfeel and slightly oily finish. Has enough kick to satisfy hopheads though I doubt even they’ll find anything outstanding about it. The best Two Brothers I’ve had yet, though that’s not saying much.
