2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Capones, pours amber with small white head, nice lacing. Aroma of resinous hops, sweet malt, and syrup. Flavor is sticky malt, orange booze, sugar, and mismanaged hops. Way too sweet and boozey with an ugly look as far as Iím concerned. Lowlight of the day.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Has a dark amber pour, with light off white head. A mellow citrus, and pine aroma. There is a citrus, grapefruit, caramel, and a roasted malt taste with a mildly bitter finish. Bottle was dated CASCADE2014, and overall not to bad of a brew.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mild fruity and floral aroma, sweet cereal. Appears copper, some foam and lace. Tastes of bitter hopping that is balanced very well with sweet but crisp roast malt and sweet unroasted cereal. Palate is foamy. Overall, very balanced for a wet hopped beer, the was done quite well.

Bottle. Bubbly amber. Spotty lacing. Cereal grain nose. Yeasty body, almost raisin like notes. Bitter without being a palate wrecker.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at The Keg Stand. Pours murky brown with some off white head. Not very attractive. Lots of grain and little hops in the nose. Some bitterness in the taste but tastes a lot like a barleywine.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2014 centennial edition. Canít find a date but I know it was bottled less than 2 weeks ago. Served in a pub glass. The beer pours a clear amber orange with a thick, off white head that shrinks down and leaves great lacing. Aromas are fresh pine and some citric fruits. Not very strong. Taste is very juicy up front and throughout. Immediately I taste piney bitterness mixed with tropical fruit flavors and a nice caramel back. Overall it is quenching, no alcohol present, and I want more. Oven of the best I have had from Two Brothers.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from the bottle into a county fair drinking jar. The back of the bottle is stamped "CASCADE" with a 2010 copyright. Beer pours dark orange & really foamy and lacy like a root beer float. I taste hints of good beer, with highlights of really good beer. This "lot" goes down like water and hits every taste bud on itís way down. Little bitter, little sweet, a very agreeable IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tipples with no date, just says "Cascade" where the date goes. Poured 8/17/14. Pours murky bronze with a big off white head. Aroma of straight malt juice, not a hop to be found here. Seriously straight bready malts, toffee, and some caramel. Flavor follows that closely making this a decent barleywine, but nothing close to resembling an IPA. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Honestly this is good the way it is, just wasn't looking for a barleywine, which is exactly what this is really. One of the better non-BA American style barleywines I have had though. I guess ill rate it as it tastes but it's lower because it was supposed to be an IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle tag indicated cascade hops. Cool how they do this with many hop varieties. Begs the question as to how all the variations are listed under one and Mikellerís single hop beers are not. Donít care, but curious. Pours an amber with off white head. Smell is of a beer that is slightly past its prime, but some nice bright citrus with strong caramel malts. Taste is boastful caramel, fruity redness, touch citrus. I wish instead of the word cascade they would put a date as I think I would have been informed better on this selection. Either way good to ok ipa.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep amber color. Big off white head. Plenty of lacing. Nice malt aroma with notes if bread and slight hops. Nice malty flavor with a bitter punch in the back.
