Flavor is sweet and hoppy, lots of piney citrus notes come out with other fruits. Not Bad. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

It's not exactly watery, and I've had much worse eau de hop kinds of IPAs before...a little like DFH 60 minute in the hoppiness but without the bits of sweet malt underneath. Nice bitter flavor, a bit thin on the palate though. Good finish just lingers on the back of my tongue. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 28, 2007 This is the first wet hopped beer I’ve tried. It says 2007 harvest. Considering the 2007 started a few weeks ago and is still ongoing, this sucker is *fresh*. I’m surprised by how little aroma it has. I had to stick my nose right in there and all I got was a slightly grassy aroma. Not great, but not horrible either. Its a pretty beer though - crystal clear, light copper, small off-white head. The flavor is interesting. Fruity, bitter. Its a little grassy, which I understand is what happens when undried hops are used, but its a really light flavor and not to bad at all. The mouthfeel is full, light carbonation, smooth finish. Its an interesting beer, worth trying. My only gripe: if your IPA is 5.7%, its not an IPA. One point deduction for mislabelling. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours clear auburn-amber with quickly dissipating pillowy head and nice lacing. Very inticing citrus & pine aroma with some malt showing too. Take a sip -- what happened to the malt I detected in the aroma? Flavor is all hops, mostly piney and bitter -- where’d the floral and fruity notes go?. Seems more bitter than its indicated 62 IBUs, though some of the bitterness subsides as it warms and the malt almost makes a showing. Medium mouthfeel and slightly oily finish. Has enough kick to satisfy hopheads though I doubt even they’ll find anything outstanding about it. The best Two Brothers I’ve had yet, though that’s not saying much.
