Pours a clear amber with an average size lasting foamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Looks great! Wonderful aroma of sweet malt and resiny hops -- very well balanced. Flavour’s also a nice balance of sweet malt and resiny hops along with a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not much to say really, this is a nice, easy to drink IPA and would make a great session Ale. MrBunn (1566), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber color with a one finger foam head. Aromas are pleasant... hops take the form of a resin/pineapple with caramel malt in the background. Flavor is pleasant, but aftertaste waits a bit and then kicks in with heavy hops... leading up to this finale, there is a pretty good caramel malt body that is OK, but once the hops takes over this is really a pleasant taste. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2005 Magenta-tinged cider. Citrus hops seem to float on top of a layer of bready malt in the aroma. The intial hop wetness in the body disperses and reveals a great, creamy malt middle. Nutty and sweet, the malt gives this some depth, and a nice balance to the chewy hops. Solid. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Copper red with abundant white head. Aroma is a sweet-hop smell. Taste is sweet at first with a hop bitterness at the finish. Very pleasant. This beer is not an over-the-top hop-soda (which I also enjoy), but is an extremely good, more middle-of-the-road, IPA.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 5, 2009 This pours a cloudy orange color with a medium head and plenty of nice lace. The beer has nice aromatic qualities of grassy hops and some caramel sweetness. The Flavor is nicley bitter with plenty of piney hops and some good malt notes of honey and caramel. Very well balanced. The beer is well rounded and fabulously put together. slitcher (105), Freeport, Illinois, USA

Very smooth with a nice bitter finish and near perfect carbonation. Not the hop monster I was hoping it would be, but very well done and very drinkable. 13mikey (178), New Hope, Minnesota, USA

Hoppy aroma with some major malty notes to it. Flavor is the same, malty and hoppy with a bitter finish. Pretty smooth beer for how big it is.
